Chapter 234 I Will Not Commit Suicide
Whenever Eileen faced problems, her initial instinct was to flee. She detested this aspect of herself, as well as her inability to take action.

Clutching her pillow, she hung her head, avoiding the intense gaze fixed upon her. Just as she was about to leave with her pillow, she failed to notice Eric stepping forward with a gloomy expression. He grabbed her arm, snatched the pillow from her hand, and threw it on the ground. He then forcefully dragged her into the bathroom.
Eileen resisted him like a cornered kitten. He tore her clothes, exposing a large portion of her chest.
“Don’t touch me!” Eileen scratched his face and threw a comb at him. The bathroom door was locked, leaving her with no choice but to huddle in the corner, shivering from the cold.
She had expected him to lash out at her in anger, but his calmness surprised her.
Eric crouched down in front of her, gently brushing away the hair obscuring her face. “I don’t want to hurt you. I’ll help you wash up, alright?”
For the first time, he spoke with a concerned tone.
Ten minutes later, Eric had prepared hot water and gently carried her into the warm bathtub. He forcibly removed her clothes, and as she sat in the bathtub, Eileen felt like a doll being manipulated at will.
Eric took off his coat and hung it on the wall. Rolling up the sleeves of his black shirt, he wiped her b*dy with a towel. “The school called me. When do you plan on going back?”
Eileen’s face remained blank.
“Leave the Swan residence. I don’t want to see you. Every day you’re here, I can’t forget all that you’ve done to me. I still hold some value to you, so if you don’t want me to die, never show your face in front of me again”

Eileen’s voice was soft as she replied, “If I were to go with you, would you leave this place?”
Eric remained silent.
After an hour-long bath, Eileen was finally clean. Eric dried her b*dy, carried her to the vanity, picked up the hairdryer, and began blow-drying her hair.
While Eric tested the temperature, Eileen glanced at him through the vanity mirror. “Eric… have you fallen for me?”
She had wanted to ask this question for a long time.
However, Eric didn’t react at all. Eileen could only hear the hairdryer whirring by her ear.
For some inexplicable reason, she wanted to hear him tell her the truth personally.
Eric continued blow-drying her hair as an unusual silence filled the room. Her long hair, cascading to her waist, was thick and difficult to dry. It took over an hour every time she blow-dried it. As it was challenging to manage, Eileen usually dried it halfway, placed a towel underneath, and went to bed.
After blow-drying her hair, it was just past midnight.
She had no idea how to endure the seemingly endless night.

He had just finished putting on one sleeve and was pulling down her top. This scene startled Mary so much that she almost dropped the food in her hands.

“Put down the food and clean up the room upstairs.”
Eileen spoke in an indifferent tone. “No need. I’ll clean up myself tomorrow. It’s late now, Mary. You should go back and rest.”

Eric’s room had a minimalist design, painted in shades of gray and Blake. The table lacked any personal items, except for a few documents. If one didn’t know better, it would be hard to tell that the room was occupied at all.
Eric picked up the chicken stew from the side and brought it to her l*ps. “Finish this, then rest for a while. I’ll take you out tomorrow.”
“I’ve already told you, there’s no need for you to worry about me. Go take care of Vera! You’re her boyfriend, and staying at my house will only make her unhappy.” Eileen turned her head away, maintaining an indifferent expression throughout.
“Eileen… Do you really have to speak to me in this manner?”
