Chapter 235 Changing The Locks
Eric forcefully spoon-fed Eileen a mouthful of chicken stew. Immediately after, Eileen felt a wave of nausea in her stomach. She leaned over the edge of the bed and vomited everything out. Since she hadn’t eaten anything all day, her stomach was empty. In the end, all she threw up was stomach bile, leaving a bitter taste lingering in her mouth.
The nauseating smell lingered, refusing to dissipate. Eileen lifted the blanket, intending to get out of bed. Sensing her intentions, Eric reached out and lifted her by the waist, carrying her to the bathroom.
Eileen hunched over the toilet, feeling as if she was about to vomit her guts out. The stomach bile was corroding her esophagus, causing a wave of pain. Eric could only gently pat
her on the back.
After an indeterminate amount of time, Eileen was panting heavily. Her b*dy was so weak that she could barely stand. Her eyes were red, filled with tears. Eric, grasping her shoulders, helped her up. But not long after she steadied herself, Eileen lost consciousness without any warning.
“Eileen!”
Eileen gave him no response. Without a moment’s hesitation, Eric bent down, swept her into his arms, and hurriedly ran down the stairs.
After Eric brought Eileen to the emergency department of Serene Hospital, she lay on the hospital bed, looking pale and hooked up to an IV drip.
A nurse asked, “Are you a family member of the patient?”
Eric replied, “Yes.”
The nurse said, “The patient is somewhat malnourished. It’s best to prepare more of whatever she wants to eat, but she shouldn’t eat too much at once to avoid stomach discomfort. She should stay in the hospital for observation for a few days, so any issues can be treated promptly.”
“Mm-hmm.”
Not long after the nurse left, Zachary walked in, wearing a slight smile. “It’s rare to see you like this. How do you like the feeling of falling for your own sister?”
Especially after finding out about his biological relationship with Will. Even though he knows it’s forbidden, he still can’t control himself.
Zachary was genuinely looking forward to it.

“What is it?”
Eric gave him an icy look.
Zachary, unconvinced, stepped forward and glanced at Eileen, who was still unconscious. It was clear that she had been having a tough time these past few days.
Tsk, someone’s had a rough time!
“Have you ever considered taking a DNA test with her? What if she’s not related to you? You can’t just a*sume that she is, right?”
Just then, Eileen let out a struggling murmur. “Water…”
“It’s not your place to tell me what to do. Get out!”
Still smiling, Zachary raised his hands to indicate his backing down. “After being your friend for so many years, I’m just trying to give some friendly advice. Never mind, I’m just being nosy. You guys carry on.”
Before leaving, he didn’t forget to vent his frustrations. He said, “You’re a good person in every other way, but you’re heartless. I can’t believe I’ve helped you so many times, and now you’re kicking me out. Eric, you’re really disappointing.”
Eileen woke up to find Mary sitting by her bed.
Mary carefully helped Eileen up at once, placing a pillow behind her. “Be careful. Let me know if it’s too hot,” she said, feeding the latter some oatmeal. Eileen couldn’t eat anything that was too rich or greasy. Her circumstances are terrible now. She’s probably no longer the scion of the Tuner family.
Eileen managed to finish a whole bowl of oatmeal. At least she had eaten something, which was better than not eating at all. After going through several days of turmoil, she had. noticeably lost weight.
“Where’s Eric?”
“Oh, Mr. Snow? He took care of you all night and only left this morning.”
Eileen said with an indifferent expression, “Find a locksmith and have the front door lock at home replaced.”
“Um… Wouldn’t it be terrible if Mr. Snow finds out?”

Eileen looked deeply into Mary’s eyes. “Are you also one of his subordinates?”
“What? No way!” Mary quickly denied. “I’m just the housekeeper you hired. I obey whoever pays me. But… if your conflict affects me and causes me to lose my job, then I won’t do it.”
Mary spoke very frankly.
“From now on, I’ll be sending you your salary every month.”
Mary slapped her thigh. “Alright then, I’ll make the arrangements right away. If Mr. Snow blames me later, Ms. Eileen… You’ll have to help me smooth things over. I still need to support my family!”
“Mm-hmm.”
A couple of hours later, Mary returned to the hospital, drenched in sweat. “The front door lock has been replaced, and the code has been set as you instructed.”
“Thank you.”
“Don’t worry about it. I’m just doing my job.”
Eileen changed out of her hospital gown and quickly completed the discharge procedures. The medical expenses were paid with the card that Will had given her. Will would deposit. money into her account every month. Since she didn’t spend much, she had managed to save quite a bit.
Right after leaving the ward, Eileen ran into Vera helping Sharon walk slowly out of the elevator. The two of them met face to face.
Sharon had aged significantly, her hair had turned considerably Blake. She walked toward Eileen, swept by a surge of emotions. “Eileen…”
“Eileen… Did you come to the hospital to see Sharon? These past few days, Sharon has been. constantly thinking about you.”
Eileen gave

Sharon a cold glance, saying. “Take good care of yourself.” With that, she walked
She couldn’t bring herself to face the latter, whom she fully trusted but ended up hurting her the most in the end.
The best she could do was generously forgive Sharon for all she had done and pretend that nothing ever happened.
Suddenly. Vera’s startled cry was heard from behind. “Sharon! Eileen, Sharon has fainted. Doctor, come quickly!”

Eileen entered the elevator. Just as the doors were about to close, a hand blocked them A man in a Blake coat entered. “What a coincidence, Eileen Where are you headed
Eileen remained silent, refusing to acknowledge him. This person is a disgrace to the medical profession. He does not deserve to wear that uniform.
When the elevator reached the ground floor, Eileen stepped out of the hospital’s n
entrance.
She then returned to Undella Mansion.
This time, not only was a gate installed at the villa’s main door, but one was also erected at the main entrance. Without a remote control, no car from outside could enter.

Eileen did not confine herself to her room. Instead, she secluded herself in the desolate mansion.
For several consecutive days, Eileen and Mary did not leave the house. They had groceries delivered to their doorstep.
Inside the vast mansion, there were only two people.
Eric never came, and without him, Eileen would always come downstairs to cat on time. every day.
The large table would only have a few dishes, all of which she enjoyed.
Apart from eating alone, watching TV alone, and reading a book when bored, everything else seemed like any other ordinary day
