Chapter 5 Divorce Agreement
Sienna couldn’t believe Gianna was speaking to her with such a tone.
With a finger adorned with a huge sapphire ring, she pointed directly at Gianna. “What’s with this attitude? Repeat what you just said!”
Gianna appeared utterly fearless, looking straight at Sienna. “I said, now that Naomi is joining the Rivera family, you might as well let her handle these things in the future while I… Will never do them again!”
Gianna slowly uttered the words with distinct enunciation from her red lips.
After saying this, she felt an unprecedented sense of relief.
However, this truly angered Sienna. “You!”
“Mom!” Alaia grabbed Sienna’s arm at a crucial moment, lowering her voice a bit. “Gianna seems angry! I heard about what happened with my brother last night…”
Alaia recounted the events from the previous night, and from her expression and gestures, Gianna knew Alaia wasn’t speaking kindly.
Sienna quickly understood, a haughty expression on her face as she confronted Gianna. “It’s because you couldn’t keep your own husband that you’re throwing a tantrum at me!”
Gianna, moving slowly with her luggage, suddenly stopped outside the villa.
Her temples throbbed.
She resisted the urge to turn and curse. Instead, she turned her head and said coldly, “For the past. three years, weren’t you questioning my fertility? Instead of that, why don’t you have Levi see a urologist? He can’t even get it up, so whose problem it really is!”
“You, you, you…” This statement left both Sienna and Alaia shocked.
Once Sienna realized what Gianna meant, her anger flared up. “Gianna, whether you believe it or not, I will make Levi divorce you immediately!”
Before, Gianna had tried to avoid conflicts with other members of the Rivera family for Maya’s sake.
She was worried before, but she wasn’t afraid anymore.
Gianna spoke casually, “Whatever.”
After saying this, she left Rivera Manor without paying attention to Sienna’s outbursts.
After Gianna left, Sienna felt increasingly uneasy. She instructed Alaia, “Go upstairs and check if anything valuable is missing from our home. Her suitcase was heavy. Who knows what she packed!”
However, after a while, Alaia rushed down the stairs holding a document.
“Mom! Nothing’s missing, but there’s something on the nightstand!”
Sienna took it, and her eyes widened.
Clear words were written on it: [Divorce Agreement!]
Sienna immediately called Levi and accused Gianna of her actions. Upon hearing about the divorce agreement and the claim of his sexual impotence, Levi abruptly ended his meeting,
grabbed his coat from the back of his chair, and left the conference room.
“Mom, just calm down for now.” He soothed her in a deep voice.
“I’m not just mad! I’m furious! If she leaves, it’s actually better. It’ll make room for Naomi. What infuriates me is that she’s the one proposing the divorce!”
Sienna ranted on the phone. Levi, however, hung up, his face darkening gradually, exuding a formidable aura.
He couldn’t believe a once docile woman would do something so rebellious.
But recalling Gianna’s odd behavior last night, he found Gianna’s number in his phone contacts.
For the first time in three years, he initiated contact with Gianna.
“Mr. Rivera.” But before the call connected, Jason approached him after coming out of the top–floor elevator.
“A few minutes ago, I received an email containing Mrs. Rivera’s resignation letter.”
Jason was panting. “She was handling several projects, especially the Dubai Medical Expo. We haven’t completed the handover and this… What should we do?”
Levi’s expression grew darker and more unpleasant. Meanwhile, his phone echoed, “Hello, the number you have dialed is currently busy. Please try again later…”
Very well, Gianna had hung up on him.
