Chapter 91 Dangers Cleared
The car door swung open, and Gianna stepped out of the vehicle.
“It’s been a while since I had a chance to stretch my muscles,” she remarked, eyeing the men in front of her. “Shall we do this together, or one by one?”

The burly men, armed with knives, were eager for action. They glanced at their unconscious comrade in the bushes, then at the lone person inside the car, realizing they were vastly outnumbered.
The tattooed man, smoking a cigarette, pushed aside one of his subordinates and approached
Gianna.
“You’ve seen it for yourself. We have the numbers. Hand over the ring, and you might save yourself some trouble.”
Gianna sneered, “So, it’s Simon who sent you.”
“No need for all these questions, bitch. Are you handing it over or not?”
Gianna swiftly snatched the tattooed man’s cigarette, extinguishing it on his forehead. Then, with a sidekick, she sent him tumbling to the side.
With a stern expression, she said, “You, the annoying one, let’s start with you.”
“Damn it, she actually dared to hit me!” The tattooed man picked himself up from the ground and spat out a tooth that had been knocked loose. “Take her down!”
The mob closed in, but within moments, they were sent sprawling with cries of pain, kicked a considerable distance away.
In less than ten minutes, they were all writhing on the ground, groaning in pain.
Gianna approached the tattooed guy and looked down at him with contempt. “You’re the leader, right?”
“Yeah… more or less.”
“When you threatened to beat me just now, you didn’t seem this meek.”
Gianna playfully nudged him with her foot. “You, get up. Tie them together in pairs with ropes. We’re going to the police station.”
“Ah! Miss, maybe we could skip that part? We promise we won’t dare to do this again.”
“Do you want to be beaten to death on this street corner, or do you want to go to the police station and turn yourselves in? It’s your choice.” Gianna’s gaze turned increasingly menacing, and the tattooed guy knew she was dead serious.
“We’re going! We’re going!”
He quickly agreed, fearing that she might change her mind. This beautiful woman had exceptional skills, and going to the police station might be their only chance to stay alive.
Gianna, seeing that the situation outside the car was mostly resolved, then got into the car. “Erwin, we can go now.”
Erwin, this time, looked at Gianna with evident admiration and respect in his eyes. However, his professional demeanor quickly returned.
“Yes, Ms. Lewis.”
On the way back to the Lewis House, Erwin grew increasingly concerned. “Ms. Lewis, should we

report this to Mr. Chaim Lewis?”
“No need. Those were just a few amateurs. I can handle them, and Simon won’t dare to make a real move as long as I have the ring.”
“I see.”
“Oh, by the way, please help me find the ring when we get home.
“After I won that day, I think I left it in one of the cars‘ trunks. I remember it was in a red plastic bag. You can check my garage later.”
Erwin didn’t know what to say. They sent out a squad of black–clad thugs to retrieve the ring, and now Gianna remembered that she had it stored in a plastic bag, like it was nothing, even though it was worth billions of dollars.
Truly remarkable!
When Gianna returned home, she saw Thiago and Jonathan video–chatting with Chaim from Dubai.
In the background, an elderly man lay on a hospital bed, looking fairly well. This was Bill Lewis, the true owner of the Lewis Group’s business empire.
“Grandpa! You’re awake!” Gianna rushed toward the screen, her face filled with self–blame, her eyes slightly moist. “Grandpa, I’m so sorry. It’s my fault for not listening and causing you to fall
ill.”
“Silly child, let your grandpa have a look at you.” The voice came from the screen, aged but still vigorous.
Gianna wiped away her tears and raised her head. “Grandpa, I’ll fly to Dubai to see you tomorrow.”
– “The doctor said I’m recovering well. You don’t need to worry.

“I heard from Chaim that you’ve been managing Empyrean Group in Silver City excellently. You’re truly my granddaughter. In a few days, it’ll be my seventieth birthday. Come back and celebrate it
with me.”
“Grandpa, why did you only ask Gianna to come back and not me?” Thiago interjected.
Bill’s kind expression suddenly turned stern. “How dare you say that? You made unclear statements at the concert, Gianna was berated by your fans! Be glad I’m not holding you accountable.”
Thiago, scolded and silenced, could only mutter, “I got carried away with emotions during the concert. I couldn’t help myself!”
