Chapter 88 The Big Arrival
Liam shared the same doubts as Stacy.
“Ms. Lewis, are you joking? Perhaps during the time we’ve been talking, hackers have already cracked it.”
“I said the source code won’t leak.” Gianna leaned confidently against her chair and turned to Erwin, whispering, “Is he here yet?”
Erwin lowered his head and replied quietly, “He’ll arrive in ten minutes.”
Gianna smiled lightly, her confidence shining through. “Everyone just needs to follow me downstairs and meet someone.”
Everyone in the room froze, even thinking Gianna might be joking.
“What is she thinking, asking all of us to go downstairs to meet someone?”
“Doesn’t she understand the seriousness of this situation?”
“She’s acting as if it’s not a big deal!”
Gianna paid no attention to these comments and stood up, her head held high. She left behind a single sentence before walking away. “You won’t regret it if you follow me.”
Levi stood up as well. “I’ll go with you.”
Although Liam was anxious, he had no choice but to follow the two major shareholders.
The directors, feeling the pressure, reluctantly followed suit.
As Gianna led the way, a crowd of people followed her, all curious to see who she was bringing. In the distance, a yellow taxi approached along the driveway.
People exchanged bewildered glances, wondering if this was the big arrival they had anticipated. Then, a man stepped out of the taxi. He stood at 6.2 feet tall, had sharp brows and starry eyes, and was dressed in a black casual outfit. His refined and understated aura couldn’t be ignored. “You’re here!” Gianna rushed forward to greet Jonathan Lewis as soon as he stepped out of the
taxi.
She gave him a big hug and whispered in his ear, “Jonathan, I’m really counting on you this time!” Jonathan replied nonchalantly, “No big deal. I’ve already sorted things out on my way here.” Gianna linked her arm through Jonathan’s and beamed at him. “Really! I knew you were the best.” Jonathan chuckled and ruffled Gianna’s hair, wearing an affectionate smile that was a rare sight from him. “You sure know how to sweet–talk, don’t you?”
Jonathan worked for the National Cyber Security Department and was the world’s number one hacker on the dark web, known as AK.
Gianna had contacted him in advance, anticipating potential risks and arranging for his presence in Silver City to safeguard the confidentiality of the nanorobot project during these three months of progress.
Little did she know that complications would arise so quickly, and she had underestimated certain troublemakers.
Gianna’s actions left everyone bewildered, and many of them regretted going along with her reckless decision.
“Allow me to introduce everyone. This is the engineer I specifically brought in to encrypt the

project. He has successfully removed the source code from the dark web.”
Gianna introduced Jonathan and immediately led him upstairs, leaving behind a room full of murmurs and speculations.
“Is it genuinely resolved? Could this be some kind of deception?”
“Who is this guy, and does anyone have information about his background?”
Levi remained silent, his gaze following the retreating figures. His expression grew increasingly gloomy.
Who was this man?
They were so close in front of everyone, showing no restraint.
Once they reached the upstairs, Liam checked the situation again and confirmed that it was as Gianna had said. He breathed a sigh of relief.
“It’s finally resolved,” Liam said, taking a sip from the bottle of Evian on the table. He turned his gaze to Jonathan, who was sitting on the side, coding away. “May I know how to address this engineer?”
“Call me 008.”
Liam raised an eyebrow in surprise when he heard the name, but he assumed that the man probably wanted to keep his identity confidential, so he didn’t find it too strange.
Gianna, feeling a bit embarrassed, smiled at Liam. “I apologize. His name is indeed quite unusual.”
She made a playful face at Jonathan, but he kept his head down, showing no reaction at all.
It was like punching cotton.
Jonathan had come to help her during his vacation, and he definitely wouldn’t want to reveal his true identity. However, choosing such a peculiar name was something only someone with an eccentric thought process like Jonathan could come up with.
“Ms. Lewis, you have quite the foresight. It’s like you anticipated this from the beginning. I’m impressed,” Liam remarked.
Gianna nodded. “Not at all. I just thought that someone with ill intentions might try to cause trouble.”
“Now that the biggest issue has been resolved…” Gianna turned her head and raised an eyebrow. “It’s time to uncover the identity of the real leaker.”
