Amber’s expression was that of pure determination. “You better be careful, Gianna. We at White Group won’t let a single Empyrean Group project slide by. I’m going to drag you from heaven. straight to hell.”

Amber tilted her chin up, looking triumphant. “I asked him to take care of my family. He chose us, the Turner family, over you. That must have been a knife to your heart, given how head over heels you were for him.”
Gianna’s expression remained impa*sive, her eyes a calm sea.
The past was a bitter chapter, but it no longer ruffled her emotions. It was as if Amber was talking about someone else’s life.
She let out a light laugh.
Originally, she thought Amber’s challenge was somewhat interesting, at least it ignited her fighting spirit, but now…
“Ms. Amber Turner, if you’re so smitten with Levi, he’s all yours.”
“Excuse me?”
Amber was momentarily stunned, finding no trace of affection for Levi in Gianna’s gaze.
“Do I need to spell it out for you?”
“Gianna, you were so deeply infatuated with Levi once. Now you can just let go?”
A soft smile crossed Gianna’s l*ps. She had indeed moved on. Ever since she survived that plane crash, ever since she witnessed Levi’s betrayal, her heart was no longer in it.
Love was not something to be forced.
And she had found someone who truly mattered to her.
“We must look ahead. As for the rest, you don’t deserve an explanation.”
Gianna rose to leave, but Amber’s voice stopped her. “What do you think Levi would. say heard all this?”

Gianna responded without even looking at her, “That would be his concern, not mine.” With those final words, Gianna walked away without a backward glance. As she exited, Amber looked toward a hidden corner and called, “Come on out!”
Levi emerged, his face shadowed with gloom. Amber looked utterly entertained. “See for yourself, Levi. Gianna couldn’t care less about you. Why are you still hanging on?”
Levi ignored her taunts. “Amber, enough is enough.”

“Gianna had nothing to do with what happened to the Turner family. If Naomi hadn’t messed up, you all wouldn’t be in this situation.”
Amber slightly shook her head. “Levi, you’ve changed. Even now, you’re still siding with Gianna.”
