Chapter 389
The housekeeper explained, “Since the accident, Ms. White rarely comes back here to avoid being reminded of it, so these are all her previous works.
“What’s wrong? There are no design drawings like the ones she mentioned?”
“No…”
Gianna replied subconsciously, but soon, she took out her phone and said, “I’m not certain which one it is at the moment. I’ll take a picture and ask her.”
The housekeeper, without suspicion, replied, “No, they’re not. You can take a picture, and while you’re at it, ask Ms. White when she might come back. That would be the best.”
The housekeeper’s tone carried a touch of hope.
Gianna, as she looked at her, was reminded of her own childhood, raised by a nanny while her parents were absent. Life had gone relatively smoothly for her.
“Madam, you’ve watched Susan grow up, so you must have a good relationship with her, right?” The housekeeper responded, “Ms. White is the mistress, and I am just a servant.” Her words. clearly defined her position and role.
Gianna, respecting her stance, moved on and quickly took photos of the design drawings with her phone.
“Madam, we are friends of Susan, but we don’t know much about her. Susan’s birthday is coming up, and we were thinking about what gift to give her. We thought you might know her preferences. Could you please share some insights?”
Mentioning Susan’s likes and dislikes seemed to light up the housekeeper, and she began to speak more. “Ms. White was a delightful child from a young age, and everyone loved her. Mr. and Mrs. White doted on her. She loved to draw from a young age, and Mrs. White believed she had a natural talent for it. So, from the age of five, they sent her to a teacher for lessons…”
The housekeeper continued to share various details, and it was evident that her feelings for Susan- ran deep.
As the conversation reached its end, the housekeeper sighed, “Ah, if only Mr. and Mrs. White were still here, Ms. White would surely be the happiest person in the world.”
The atmosphere grew unexpectedly heavy at this point in the conversation.
Gianna pursed her l*ps and asked, “Would you mind sharing with us what happened to Mr. White’s family and the accident that occurred five years ago?”
The housekeeper shook her head slightly, saying, “The police have already investigated that matter. It was an accident, nothing more. We are just servants and don’t have any say in these affairs.”
“Have you found the design drawings Ms. White was looking for?”
Gianna snapped back to the present and pulled out two drawings from the pile. “We’ve found. these two.”
The housekeeper breathed a sigh of relief, smiling as she said, “That’s great! Ms. White can relax. now. I’ll put the rest of the designs away.”
“Thank you.”
As they left the White Villa, Gianna’s expression was heavy. She held the two design drawings

tightly in her hand and didn’t say a word.
“At least this trip helped us understand that Susan’s change began five years ago. So, all the issues. trace back to that car accident,” Shawn remarked.
Upon hearing this, Bruse, ever ready for action, offered his phone. “Boss, I found information on the accident and the police officer who handled the case. Coincidentally, I happen to know this. officer. Should we go find him?”
Bruse was a man of action. As he finished speaking, his phone began ringing.
He waved his phone at Shawn and Gianna, saying, “Look, the clouds are coming!”
