“Oh, by the way, since you came to the store today, I just remembered something,” Kaylee interrupted her contemplation and continued, “There was a customer who specifically requested you to design a gown for her.” 

“What kind of gown?” 

Kaylee fl*pped over the customer order form on the counter and handed it to Gianna. “The other party is offering three million, and there’s no time constraint. As long as you’re available within the next six months,” she said. 

Gianna raised an eyebrow and accepted it. 

The order form was simple, with no extravagant details, only a name and a phone number left behind. 

“Why is it so mysterious? Does she have any specific requirements for the gown?” Gianna asked. “She didn’t mention anything, just said she wants to discuss it with 

you in person when you’re available. What do you think? Should we take this order?” Kaylee asked. Gianna curved her l*ps, revealing a charming smile. 

“Of course, we should take it. It’s a big order for our store, so naturally, we should accept it.” “Leave this matter to me. The company has been quite busy lately, so I’ll contact her once I’m done with this period,” Gianna suggested.! 

“Sure, let’s do it your way,” Kaylee agreed. 

In the blink of an eye, it was Monday. 

Gianna arrived at the company early in the morning and happened to run into Maverick downstairs. Maverick, dressed in a sharp suit, looked completely different from his usual style. 

But when he saw Gianna, his façade instantly crumbled.

“Gianna, are you here for the Monday meeting?” 

Gianna responded with a soft “Yes.” 

Maverick’s smile grew even broader. 

According to tradition, the Empyrean Group held a meeting every Monday morning, and Gianna rarely attended in the past, so Maverick was quite surprised. 

“The focus of today’s meeting is the Dawn City project. We’ll finalize the budget and then 

participate in the bidding tomorrow,” Maverick explained. 

Gianna was familiar with Maverick’s business capabilities and knew that he was always dedicated to his work. 

“Do you have confidence?” Gianna couldn’t help but tease. 

Maverick took a deep breath, his face determined. “Gianna, you can rest a*sured! There aren’t many companies that can compete for this project. Moreover… this should be the last project I handle at Empyrean Group. I won’t disappoint you.” 

Hearing this, Gianna’s l*ps curled up as she turned to look at him. “You’ve decided to leave?” 

Maverick nodded and continued, “But, Gianna, even if I leave Empyrean Group physically, my 

heart will still be here.” 

“Then, when you secure this project, I’ll throw a celebration for you,” Gianna promised. “Great! Gianna, you always keep your word.” 

“Well, I’ll be waiting for your good news.” 

Gianna’s encouragement was like a potent medicine, and Maverick’s spirits were instantly lifted. Maverick felt as if he was floating on air. 

This mood continued throughout the meeting. 

Maverick stood at the front, speaking confidently. Every move and expression he made was dazzling, earning praises from the people below. 

It had to be said that a serious Maverick was quite handsome! 

“All the budget reports have been organized and will be submitted to Ms. Lewis for approval after the meeting,” Maverick said, scanning the room before finally resting his gaze on Gianna.
