Chapter 235 Forbidden
Sienna’s son was quite outstanding.
Unlike Fiona, who had spent her life doting on only one daughter, Rebecca.
There was an inherent rivalry between Fiona and Sienna, making the air between them tense.
“Why are you bothered when I’m finding a match for Rebecca? But then again, since I heard Alaia was sent to Afalia by Levi, you probably have no room to speak,” Fiona taunted.
Upon hearing this, Sienna frowned.
Fiona’s words stung like a thorn, piercing Sienna’s heart.
“Alaia is just in Afalia for a little while. She’ll come back,” Sienna retorted, her voice shaky.
Defeated, she walked away.
Feeling triumphant, Fiona quickly turned to Maya. “Mom, help me out here. Look at this. Shawn, the CEO of the Fallon Group. He’s so handsome and talented. In just a few months, he’s revitalized an entire conglomerate. He’s truly one in a million.”
Maya frowned slightly, advising, “We’ll discuss this later.”
Fiona pouted, clearly displeased. “Alright, Mom.”
She then excitedly showed Rebecca. “Rebecca, look at this! Shawn is definitely your type.”
Rebecca seemed uninterested, her gaze fixed on the entrance.
Soon after, Levi entered, and her eyes lit up instantly.
“Mom, I’ll be right back,” she said as she hurriedly walked toward Levi.
“Levi…”
Upon recognizing her, Levi greeted, “Hello, Rebecca.”
Rebecca was Levi’s cousin. Even though they were cousins, they were born only two months apart, making them feel more like peers.
Rebecca playfully scolded, “How many times have I told you? Don’t be so formal with me. It’s not like I’m much older. It makes me feel old.”
“Ha–ha! Rebecca, you don’t look old at all,” Victor, who was standing nearby, chimed in. Annoyed, Rebecca shot him a glare.
“Don’t make fun of me!”
Victor immediately apologized, “Okay, okay. I won’t tease you.”
Rebecca seemed satisfied with his reaction. Then, turning her attention back to Levi, she asked, “Levi, I heard you got divorced. Is that true?”
Levi’s expression grew stern, a clear sign of his displeasure.
Victor quickly intervened, “Rebecca, don’t bring up sensitive topics.”
But Rebecca brushed him off, continuing, “Gianna wasn’t right for you. It’s good that you’re no longer together.” Victor tried to interrupt, “Rebecca, you shouldn’t…”
Observing Levi’s growing discomfort, Victor warned her to stop.
Rebecca pouted. “Levi, are you still thinking about her?”
Without directly addressing her comment, Levi said, “Rebecca, today is Grandma’s birthday. Let’s focus on her. You don’t need to worry about my affairs.”

With that, Levi walked off, with Victor quickly following him.
Frustrated, Rebecca thought to herself.
All she had done was speak the truth. In her eyes, Gianna was beneath Levi.
Outside, Victor caught up with Levi, teasingly asking, “What’s wrong? Upset about someone badmouthing Gianna?”
Levi, without answering, gazed distantly at the entrance and chose to remain silent.
