Chapter 204 Digging One’s Own Grave
Levi said, “Grandma Maya, I understand. I’ll investigate this matter thoroughly.”
Maya waved her hand, allowing him to proceed as he saw fit.
Levi then turned his attention to Alaia. Even though she was crying and pitiful, Levi remained unyielding.
He demanded, “Tell me what happened.”
Alaia’s sobbing stopped abruptly, but she still couldn’t speak the truth. Levi had warned her not to provoke Gianna, and she couldn’t face the consequences of her actions.
Alaia couldn’t bring herself to face Levi or the Rivera family. She feared she would no longer have a place in this household if she told the truth.
“Mom,” Alaia called out to Sienna, hoping for support.
But Sienna, too, was aware of Levi’s anger and remained silent.
Levi insisted, his patience wearing thin, “Alaia, speak the truth.”
Alaia pleaded, “Please don’t be so harsh. I’m the victim here. As your family, can’t you help me seek justice?”
Levi replied, his tone unyielding, “Enough, Alaia.” His frustration was evident, and the veins on his hand were pulsing with anger. “Did you get involved in this?”
Alaia had never seen Levi so intimidating before. Her body involuntarily trembled, and she couldn’t resist the overwhelming pressure in her heart.
Alaia continued, “It wasn’t me. I didn’t do anything. The drugs were Emily’s idea, and she arranged for someone to target Gianna. I had no idea what was happening, and it all ended up like
this.”

She hesitated, feeling wronged. It was clear to her that she wasn’t directly involved, but somehow, she had ended up in the worst situation.
Levi pressed her. “Just tell me, did you get involved?”
Alaia wanted to deny it, but Levi’s imposing presence was too overpowering, and she reluctantly nodded.
Levi snorted, “You heard that! She initiated contact with Gianna, and it seems she schemed against Gianna. She wanted to ruin Gianna, right? But in the end, she ruined herself through a twist of fate.”
Levi spoke each word with precision. His words carried the weight of a sledgehammer, impacting his own heart. It was the first time in their three–year marriage that he didn’t allow outside influences to sway his judgment. It marked the first time he placed his trust in Gianna.
And it seemed Gianna hadn’t let him down. She was worthy of his conviction.
Levi said sternly, “Reaping what one sows.” He then turned his gaze toward Sienna.
Levi asked, “So, are you still planning to confront Gianna?”
Sienna’s shoulders slumped, and she sank onto the couch.
Levi then looked at Maya. “Grandma Maya, you no longer need to worry about this matter. Leave it
to me.”
Maya sighed, “What a terrible situation for the family!” With those words, she rose from her seat

and left the hall.
Levi, this time, didn’t show any mercy. “Pack Ms. Rivera’s things.”
Levi instructed, his tone unyielding, “Jason, book the next available flight to Afalia and escort Alaia to the airport.”
Upon hearing this, Jason quickly responded, “Yes, Mr. Rivera.”
Alaia was bewildered. “Levi, please, I don’t want to go to Afalia.”
Sienna pleaded, “Levi, please don’t! I have only one daughter. If you send her away, I won’t be able to cope.”
However, regardless of their pleas, Levi remained unmoved.
