To quell the heat, Levi took swift action. He organized an early Rivera Group’s quarterly product launch event, where they also showcased the latest research results on nanorobotics.
Levi’s strategy was ruthless and effective, diverting attention from Alaia’s scandal.
In just one week, the Rivera family’s stocks rebounded gradually.
Kaylee couldn’t help but remark, “Wow, Levi is something. His tactics are truly exceptional.” Sitting across from her, Kelly added, “It’s just a standard move for capitalists. I heard Alaia has been sent abroad, so we shouldn’t expect any more mischief from her in the short term.” Kaylee shook her head. “That woman had some twisted thoughts. She did so many outrageous things. Honestly, I think Levi has been lenient with her.”
Kelly nodded in agreement. “After all, she’s his family. He couldn’t possibly go too far.”
The two of them then turned their gaze towards Gianna.
Kelly asked, “Alaia is done for, but what about Emily? I’ve already given her a heads–up, so finding a job in Silver City should be impossible for her now.”
Gianna raised her coffee and took a sip. “Everyone has to face the consequences of their actions. So, let’s sum it up, they got what they deserved.”
Kaylee couldn’t contain her laughter. “That’s a succinct summary.”
Changing the subject, Kelly thquired, “By the way, how is the progress on the fashion show going?”
Gianna responded, “The preliminary designs are already completed, and once we finalize them, we can begin production. I believe we can have everything ready by the end of the month.”
Gianna was handling such an extensive fashion show for the first time, and many of the details were still being managed by Raymond. Fortunately, everything was going smoothly. Kaylee exclaimed, extending her hand, “You’re amazing, Gianna! Come on, a high–five!”
However, their attention was drawn to an elegant figure the next moment.
“Look, who’s here?” Shawn appeared in their midst, looking puzzled and discreetly checking his attire for flaws.
Approaching them, he couldn’t help but ask, “May I ask, ladies and gentlemen, what are you looking at?”
Kelly’s attention kept shifting between Gianna and Shawn. They seemed well–suited together.
She couldn’t help but tease, “Mr. Fallon, why are you here?”
Sitting beside her, Kaylee said, “No need to ask, right? It’s definitely for someone!”
Gianna felt embarrassed, wishing she could find somewhere to hide in.
Shawn, on the other hand, smiled gently and then took out a document he had brought with him. “Let’s get down to business, shall we?”
The three of them finally refocused their attention on the document.
Gianna asked, “What’s this?”
Shawn opened the document and explained, “Gianna, since your fashion show has a vintage theme of Hinaland, I happened to come across a gown from the nineteenth century that would

As he spoke, he unfurled the document, revealing a picture of a Delftware, a stunning, antique masterpiece.
“Wow, what a beautiful gown!”
“This gown is so unique and exquisite!”
Shawn was satisfied with their reactions and continued, “This gown has been passed down from the nineteenth century, and every stitch is hand–sewn. It exudes a vintage charm and is of great value.”
Gianna asked, “Where is this gown now? Can we borrow it as the centerpiece for the fashion show? It would dazzle the audience.”
