“Why are you here?” Eileen asked, clutching her ch*st and breathing heavily.
“Richard called me and told me you weren’t home yet. I figured you were still at school. I was worried because it was getting late, so I came to ch*ck on you,” Jasper said with a slight smile. “I didn’t expect the students here to be so enthusiastic.”
The two took the elevator down. Eileen couldn’t help but glance back at Fabian, who hadn’t. come down yet.

He added, “The call didn’t go through.”

“Tomorrow, request an hour off from school for her. Around half past seven, ask the housekeeper to wake her up.”
“An hour? What if Ms. Eileen gets upset after sleeping in and missing cla*ses?”

She had undergone surgery. Despite resting at home for half a month, she was still weak. If it hadn’t been for the meticulous care she received in the past couple of weeks, she would have undoubtedly suffered from complications later on.

“Okay.”
Eileen went to school but still couldn’t make it to her first cla*s on time.
Jasper wanted to walk her to the school gate, but she quickly declined.
