Chapter 174 Eric Has Fallen For Eileen
Upon seeing Eric’s silence, Elsie was on the verge of a breakdown.

Elsie gave a desolate smile. “Ah, I knew it Eric, you’ve developed feelings for Eileen!”
Eric’s eyes turned cold. “I won’t let your affairs disrupt my plans. It’s not just about the Swan family anymore. If you want Will dead, heal your wounds first before coming to talk to me!”
He turned around and stormed out, slamming the door behind him.
Eric returned to his adjacent room. At the door, he became alert, noticing a faint noise coming from inside.
He pushed the door handle and walked in. The sound was coming from the bathroom.
His eyes narrowed as a dangerous glint flashed across them.
In just a few minutes, the sound of the shower ceased, and the bathroom door swung open. Vera emerged, wrapped in a Blake towel, her long hair cascading over her shoulders. Fresh from her bath, her skin was flushed, while her eyes sparkled dreamily. She looked irresistibly alluring, like a fawn stepping out of the forest.
“What are you doing here?”
Vera covered her ch*st with both hands, fear and shyness evident in her eyes. “I’m sorry, Eric. I thought you were still downstairs. The water heater in my room is broken, so I thought I could shower in your bathroom.”
“Go back and rest after you’re done,” Eric said as he turned to leave. Just as his hand touched the doorknob, Vera rushed over and hugged his waist from behind. “Eric, don’t go!”
“I’ve already gone this far, can’t you tell?” Vera had set aside her sense of propriety and decency to come to a man’s room, actively seeking intimacy. “Eric, I like you. I’ve liked you since we were children. You once said that you would always be with me. You wanted to wait until I went to college to give me your answer, but I can’t wait any longer. I’m afraid that if I do, you might change your mind and fall for someone else. I beg you, please make me yours, will you? Only then will I truly feel that I belong to you.”
Eric’s voice was icy. “So now, apart from getting into a man’s bed, is there nothing else you can do? Vera… you’re still a student. Eric turned around. “Let go!”
“I won’t let go.” Vera held him even tighter. “If I let go, you won’t want me anymore! When you went to see Yvette today, do you know how scared I was? I was afraid… afraid that you would really be with her, and that you would marry her in the future. Eric, I don’t want you to be with her!”
Eric didn’t know what to do with her, fearing that his words might be too harsh and hurt her.
“I’m sorry.”
“Eric…” No sooner had she spoken than Eric’s hand fell swiftly, landing a palm strike directly on the back of her neck. Vera was knocked unconscious instantly.
Eric scooped her up around the waist and carried her out of the room. Suddenly, there was the sound of hurried footsteps from upstairs, rapidly descending.
Eileen, leaning on the stair railing, hurried downstairs. On the third floor, she awkwardly ran into Eric, who was holding Vera, clad only in a loosely draped bath towel. It was a sight that could be easily misunderstood.
She held her breath, hastily averting her eyes, pretending she hadn’t seen anything. At the same time, she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. Without a second thought, she ran down the
stairs.
Eileen had already made seven or eight trips to the bathroom upstairs.
No wonder Father doesn’t allow me to eat street food here… This pain is unbearable!
After Eric carried Vera downstairs, he saw someone bending over and rummaging for something under the TV cabinet.
“What are you looking for?”
“Medicine!”
There were always spare medicines at home, put there by Sharon. Eileen finally found the one for stomachaches.
After glancing at the instructions, she swallowed two pills straight away before going to the kitchen to pour a gla*s of water and wash them down.
Eileen casually pinned up her hair with a hair cl*p. The loose strands falling by her ears gave off a carefree and languid vibe. She was dressed in a Blake cashmere nightgown, and the attached hood had two long rabbit ears hanging off it.
Eric looked at her with a deep and mysterious gaze. His eyes were like bottomless black holes, inaking it impossible to decipher what he was thinking.
Eileen drank quite a bit of water, set down her cup, and prepared to return to her room.
As soon as she turned around, she noticed him looking at her.
Eileen felt a little fearful, afraid that he might lose control again and do those things to her.
Eric looked at Eileen, the voice in his mind reminding him.

As Eileen swallowed nervously, she quickly ran past him, only for her wrist to be suddenly seized by his grasp.

Usually, Eric’s gaze held desire, anger, and the wicked intentions he hid deep within his heart. Whenever he wanted to do something to her, Eric would never bother to hide it.
However, the way he looked at her then unsettled her.
“What…what are you doing?”
Suddenly, Eric grabbed her hand and pulled her directly into the first-floor bathroom.
Eileen dared not call for help loudly, for if her father found out, she would be in trouble.
With a swift motion, Eileen was fl*pped over and pressed against the wall.
“Eric, stop fooling around. I have a stomachache!”
If he doesn’t mind, I’ll relieve myself on him.
Of course, she simply couldn’t bring herself to say something vulgar.
Before Eric could react, Eileen suddenly clutched her stomach.
This actions came to a halt.
Eileen’s face was somewhat pale. “You need to leave quickly. I need to use the restroom!
She’s afraid of having an accident at any moment.
Eric frowned, a hint of disdain flickering in his eyes.
“Please step outside for now. We can talk after I’m finished.” Eileen gently pushed Eric out of
the door.
The door slammed shut shortly after.
Eileen emerged half an hour later.
However, it was Sharon who was waiting by the door.
“You poor thing. You had a stomachache when I wasn’t here. Isn’t Mr. Snow keeping an eye on you? Why didn’t you ask him to find you some medicine? The medicine in the drawer has already expired. You should have checked it first!”
Sharon helped the weakened Eileen to the couch, pouring her a gla*s of plain water.
Eileen clutched her stomach, curling up on the sofa. “I didn’t know. It hurts… Sharon!”
“Just endure it a little longer. Mr. Snow has gone upstairs to get the car keys. He will take to the hospital soon.”
