Reluctantly, Eileen sat on the motorcycle. It was her first time riding like this.
Elm turned around. furrowing his brow as he examined her face.
“Why are you staring?” Eileen was puzzled by his gaze.
Elm reached out, undoing the bun in her hair. He then handed her a helmet and smoothly slid her hair tie onto his wrist.
“Hold onto me!”

Eileen wasn’t sure if it was because of his words or the weather, but her ears felt a bit hot. She gently grasped both sides of his clothes. “Done. We can go now.”
“You really don’t listen, do you?”
Wearing leather gloves, Elm extended his hand backward, gripping hers and pulling it down. to his waist. “Hold on tight here, don’t let go,” he instructed.
From another angle, Eileen seemed intimately close to him, and she thought it was a bit too. much. So, she moved her hands from his waist to his clothes.
Lowering his head, Elm chuckled and didn’t say a word. Instead, he stepped on the gas and sped off.
Eileen let out a piercing scream. “Ah!”
She crashed into his back, her heart pounding. Holding onto him tightly, she asked, “Elm, can’t you slow down a bit?”
Huh? What did you say? I can’t hear you.”

Eileen screamed and nearly flew out as the speed increased. As they rounded a corner, Eileen was so frightened that she didn’t dare to open her eyes. She held on tightly, terrified of falling.

Elm dismounted the motorcycle, supporting Eileen with one hand. “Can you handle this?”

“You’re so timid. We’re fine, aren’t we? Come on, let’s go for a stroll!” Elm reached out to smooth her tousled hair.
Eileen glanced at the bustling old street in front of her, full of stalls. The street was lively and vibrant, filled with the bustling atmosphere of everyday life.
“Does a place like this still exist? Have you been here before?” Her clear eyes were full of curiosity.
“You don’t know about this place. It’s pretty crowded here, so don’t get lost.”
Elm took off his black leather gloves and placed them in front of Eileen.
Seeing the gloves, Eileen asked, “What’s this for?”
“Why are you even asking? It’s cold. Put them on.”
Eileen declined, “No need. I’m not cold.”
Elm thought she was being stubborn and nodded cheerfully. “Sure, you can endure the cold.
After walking into the market, they saw someone performing a monkey show on the street
side. She paused to watch for a while.
Whenever someone tipped money into the bowl, the little monkey would carry the full bowl to its owner. All that money would end up in his pocket.
Someone handed over a bill, which the little monkey took. It then bowed respectfully to the person with the money in hand.
Eileen suddenly became interested. “Elm, can it understand human language?”
Elm shot her a dumbfounded look and forcibly dragged her away by the neck.
Eileen protested, “What are you doing, Elm? I haven’t seen enough!”
“He’s just a street swindler. What’s so interesting about a monkey show? Let’s go.”
“Let me watch for a while.”
“It’s not interesting.”
“I’ve never seen it before.”
Elm suddenly stopped in his tracks, letting go of her hand. “Do you really want to watch it?”
Eileen nodded. “Yes. Just for a while!”
“Okay, I can accompany you for a maximum of five minutes. Otherwise, we won’t finish. browsing the market. After today, the vendors here will be gone.”

Elm noticed her actions. Only someone like her would give money away foolishly.
But surprisingly, she also knew how to save his money!

After paying, she immediately ran back to Elm.

Eileen nodded. “Yes. Where are we heading next?”

At a pasta restaurant, the owner served two plates

Yvette took out two forks and handed one to the person sitting across from her. “What are you staring at?” She turned her head to look out the window, but there was nothing to see.
Eric averted his gaze, his face devoid of expression as he picked up his fork. “Is this the extraordinary place you were talking about?”
Yvette nodded. “Yes, this is it. Isn’t it bustling? Today is the final day of the street market. If you don’t accompany me properly, you’ll regret it! The pasta here is especially delicious. I used to come here often. You should give it a try! The lady boss’s culinary skills are exceptional. You won’t find anyone else like her in Hulbury.”
A hint of darkness seemed to cloud Eric’s eyes. His voice turned cold as he spoke. “After we finish eating, I’ll take you back. I don’t have time to hang out with you.”
