Chapter 14 Another Paternity Test 

Hayden dragged Kristy and ran toward Bridget excitedly, but as he ran, a figure faster than him scurried over and hugged Bridget tightly. 

Royce’s little hands tightly grasped the corner of Bridget’s coat as if afraid that she would run away. “Lady Fairy, are you here to see me?” 

Bridget was a bit surprised. “Why are you here?” 

“This is my home.” 

Bridget was stunned, thinking, “The kid I saved yesterday is Yasmin and Nigel’s son?” 

Hayden, who was a step behind, was confused. 

It turned out that the Lady Fairy Royce had talked about was his 

mommy. 

Hayden hurriedly took Kristy and went to the middle of Royce and Bridget. “Mommy, Kristy and I missed you so much!” 

Bridget rubbed Hayden’s curls and looked at Kristy: “Are you bored?” 

Kristy nodded. 

Bridget handed her the school bag she had been carrying on her back. “Here you are.” 

Kristy’s eyes lit up as she took the school bag and hugged it tightly in 

her arms.

Royce, who was pushed away, watched the interaction between them enviously and anxiously. He was sensitive enough to notice the change in Bridget’s attitude just now.

But she didn’t enter the house. Instead, she looked at Roslyn, who was following the three kids. 

Roslyn’s face showed some embarra*sment. “Ms. Cole, I didn’t realize it was you who saved Royce. Please come in.” 

Watching Bridget being surrounded by the kids and entering the Moyer’s home, Yasmin clenched her fists, not realizing that her nails had sunk in her flesh.

Nigel walked out of the study and was just about to head downstairs when he heard a noise. 

Looking down, he saw the three children accompanying Bridget through the door. 

Bridget walked in languidly. Seeming to have noticed something, she looked up and shifted her gaze indifferently at the sight of Nigel. 

Her pretty eyes had a detached look in them, and a red mole on her nose added charm to her. 

Nigel also withdrew his eyes. 

“Mommy, sit down.” 

Hayden helped Bridget sit down on the sofa and directly rolled up her pants. After seeing the wound, the little one gasped, “Mommy, does it hurt?” 

Kristy also looked at Bridget worriedly. 

Nigel’s eyes subconsciously paused. 

The stitched wound on Bridget’s fair calf was hideous, causing him to frown slightly. 

Bridget’s tone was even. “No. It’s just a small wound.” 

If it were someone else, they might say the injury was very serious so that the person who was saved would be grateful. 

But Bridget had a casual look… She was not at all as uneducated and lazy as the rumors said.

Nigel patiently explained, “Because it’s memorable. If you want it, you should go to your dad and ask him to make one for you.” 

“You’re my dad…” 

Nigel scowled. “I’m not, and don’t call me Dad again.” 

He looked at Royce and ordered, “You’re not allowed to lend this toy to anyone else.” 

A nearby servant brought over an Iron Man. 

She exchanged it for the Transformer in Hayden’s hand. 

Hayden froze, speechless. 

His large eyes misted. 

He thought, “Anyone else… So I am someone else in Dad’s heart.”

Hayden wiped his eyes, clenched his little fists, and shouted angrily, “Bad Dad! I hate you!” 

Nigel stood up straight, shoved both hands into his pockets, and looked sullenly at Bridget. “Ms. Cole, the Moyer family is not in the habit of helping others raise their children, so please take your children away.” 

Saying that, he walked away. 

Roslyn was filled with embarra*sment as she explained, “Ms. Cole, Nigel’s words are out of line. I apologize to you and Hayden on his behalf…” 

Bridget looked at Hayden’s sad face. He didn’t take it to heart even when he was aggrieved in kindergarten. Bridget’s heart sank. 

She thought, “Even though Nigel refuses to admit what happened five years ago, the children are his. How can he treat them so differently?” 

Bridget suddenly stood up. “Hayden, Kristy, let’s go.” 

She didn’t think Nigel deserved to be their dad. 

Bridget got up and prepared to leave, but a small figure ran over and hugged her legs. Royce looked up at her. “Lady Fairy, don’t go!” 

Yasmin, who had followed him back, hurriedly said, “Royce, stop it. Your father won’t allow Ms. Cole and her children to stay…” 

“Then let Lady Fairy stay and let Dad go!” Royce clung to Bridget. 

Yasmin thought, “What an ungrateful child!” 

She said like a hostess, “Ms. Cole, you’ve seen Nigel’s attitude… I hope

Yasmin breathed a sigh of relief.

“You’re not allowed to take the kids away!” 

Jeremy had just woken up. He came stomping down from the second floor with messy hair and said in an angry tone, “Bridget, I know you went through something bad when you were a kid, and it made you a pervert, but how could you treat Kristy like that? I won’t let you go!” 

The DNA had been sent in too late last night, and the Moyer family had wanted to keep it low-key, so they hadn’t asked the people at the lab to work overnight. The results would be out soon. Jeremy had already taken himself as the father of the two kids. 

Bridget was confused. 

Jeremy pointed at Kristy and said, “Look at how silent she is. She got a mental illness because of you!” 

Kristy was stunned. 

She held the dinosaur doll in her arms tightly and said timidly, “My mommy is very good to me.” 

Coincidentally, the family doctor walked in. Yesterday, she brought professional people to ch*ck up on the two kids thoroughly. Now she came to report the results. 

Jeremy got confidence when he saw the family doctor. “Bridget, I 

know you don’t want to admit it, and the kids are defending you, but it doesn’t matter. Dr. Dawson, tell her the results of Kristy’s check-up result.” 

“Miss Moyer is physically healthy. She does have some mental problems. She has a slight social phobia. There are generally two possible reasons. One is that she suffered some kind of shock. The other is that her IQ is too high, so she doesn’t like to deal with children.” 

Jeremy ignored the second reason. “So what shock was that?” 

Kayla replied, “Miss Moyer had a high IQ.” 

Jeremy was lost for words 

He was shocked and excited. He thought his kid was a genius. 

Roslyn, however, suddenly turned her head and locked eyes with the butler at her side. 

Few people knew that Nigel had begun to speak later than other children. When he saw a doctor, it turned out that he had a high IQ. For this reason, his family recognized him straight away as the heir and sent him abroad to be secretly trained. 

Roslyn looked at Bridget again and whispered to the butler, “Go to Nigel’s bathroom and find his razor. Take it there for another paternity test.” 

Even if Jeremy was Kristy’s uncle, there was another illegitimate child at home. They couldn’t tell who her father was. 

So taking Nigel’s DNA for another paternity test now could avoid a bigger misunderstanding.
