Chapter 13 Visit the Moyer’s House
The b*dyguard led Roslyn to the ward and reported what happened that time.
“We were so far and couldn’t save Mr. Royce in time. That lady rode a motorcycle and saved Mr. Royce. If she hesitated for a few seconds, they might both get seriously hurt.”
Roslyn understood what the b*dyguard meant. “She risked her life to save Royce. We have to thank her so much.”
They came to the ward and opened the door. Only Royce slept on the bed and the woman who saved him disappeared.
There was a note on the bedside table with a few words. “You’re

At the back gate of the hospital, a low-key black car stopped there.
Bridget limped to the car and got in the car.
There was a man in the driver’s seat, Mitch Clarke. He was about 25 years old and looked delicate. He was the person who called Bridget before.
“Bridget, you even lost your favorite motorcycle. It must be very dangerous. Why did you risk your life? Was it worth it?”
Bridget moved her leg, leaned back on the leather seat, and asked casually, “How’s my motorcycle?”
Mitch looked at Bridget’s face through the rearview mirror and asked gingerly, “What’s your decision on the patent of petri dish we talked about last time? They offered a considerable price.”
“Don’t mention it again.”
Bridget didn’t want to deal with this now.
Mitch kept silent and thought.
“Alas, no one will know that the famous microbiologist, Dr. Z, is such a young lady.
She doesn’t even care about money. She owns so many patents and can do anything she wants.”
When Bridget came home, Helena and Wilfred were asleep.
She came back to her room, unwrapped the gauze, and cleaned up the wound. She took out a bottle without a label and applied the medicine to her wound.
Then, Bridget lay on the bed.

It was really urgent and dangerous.
The boy she saved was cute and good. He grabbed her sleeve tightly and followed her to the hospital. When she got treatment, she didn’t even frown, but that boy kept crying.
Bridget had no choice but to let him sleep. Thus, she could leave the
hospital.
She took out her phone and saw Hayden’s message. “Mommy, our grandma asks us to stay a few more days. Can you send Kristy’s schoolbag here?”
A few more days…
She could tell the joys from Hayden’s message. Although Nigel betrayed her, her children were eager to their father.
Bridget hesitated for a while and replied, “OK.”
The next day, Bridget got up and drove to the Moyer’s house.
The Moyer’s house was lively now.
Yasmin came here early, hugged Royce, and kept crying. “Royce, I just didn’t meet some of your requirements. How can you run away secretly? You didn’t even tell me that you left. I searched for you the whole night.”
Royce pushed her away with a cold face.
Roslyn snorted, “When Royce stays with me, he’s always a good boy. Why would he run away secretly yesterday?”
Yasmin wiped her tears and said, “Kids always be willful when they are with their mother. Mrs. Moyer, Royce is scared. Can I stay here for a few days to comfort him?”
Hearing this, Roslyn hesitated.
Nigel said that Yasmin was not allowed to stay overnight in the Moyer’s house. But kids usually wanted a mother when they were sick…
Yasmin saw Roslyn’s expression and knew that she had a chance. As she wanted to say something else, Royce suddenly said, “No! I don’t want to see her! I hate her.”
Yasmin’s face turned gloomy.
Roslyn saw Yasmin’s expression and walked to the door. “I’ll send you out.”
Yasmin had no choices but to follow Roslyn.
When they left, the door was pushed open. Hayden and Kristy came in. Hayden curled his l*ps and said, “Your mom is really annoying.”
Royce’s jaw tightened and he felt embarra*sed.
Hayden climbed on Royce’s bed and sat at the bedside. “My mommy is different from her. My mommy is cool. She can do anything you can imagine. She’s the most beautiful.”
Royce thought of the woman who saved him last night and retorted, “No, the beautiful lady who saved me is more beautiful than your mommy.”
Hayden was unhappy. “Impossible! I never saw a woman could win my mommy.”
Royce snorted, “That lady can ride the motorcycle!”
“My mommy can ride it too.”
Royce said, “That lady knows magic. She ma*saged me for a while and I fell asleep.”
“My mommy can do it too.”
“She is very gentle and there’s a faint fragrance on her.”
“My mommy is also gentle and smells good.”
Royce was unhappy. “That lady is the best woman in the world. I’ll ask Daddy to marry her. If Dad doesn’t marry her, I’ll marry her when I grow up.”
Hayden was anxious. “No, Daddy has to marry my mom. My mom is the best. Right, Kristy?” |
Hearing this, Kristy held her toy dinosaur and replied, “Yeah.”
Royce didn’t know how to argue with them.
He raised his head unhappily and didn’t speak.
Seeing this, Hayden thought for a while and said, “My mommy will come here today. How about you come with me to see her? As long as you see her, you’ll know that she’s more beautiful than that lady.”
Royce snorted, “Humph! Impossible!”
As Hayden was about to continue, his phone rang. He glanced at the number and said surprisedly, “My mom is here. Let’s go.”

Yasmin still wanted to say something. Liam came over. “Mrs. Moyer, Bridget comes here and is outside the door.”
Roslyn’s face turned cold. “I’ve said that before I figure out what
happened before, I won’t see her.”
Liam nodded and went to deal with this.
Yasmin narrowed her eyes and said, “Mrs. Moyer, then I’ll go now.”
“OK.”
After Yasmin left, Roslyn was about to go upstairs. But she saw three children rush to the door secretly.
She frowned and followed them.
Outside the door.
Bridget wore a pair of loose-fitting pants to cover the wound on her leg.
She leaned on the car and waited impatiently. However, Liam told her, “Ms. Cole, you have to go. The Moyer family doesn’t invite you here today.”
Yasmin also appeared and said pretentiously, “Bridget, the Moyer family is so rich and powerful. Not everyone can come here…”
Before Yasmin finished her sentence, a few surprising voices sounded behind her.
“Mommy!”
“Mommy!”
“Lady Fairy!”
