Chapter 807 Removing the Nightmare
A trace of pain flashed across Dr. Garie’s eyes. “Yeah, she has terminal stomach
cancer.”
Joe looked at Dr. Garie in astonishment, as if he was telling a horror story.
But Dr. Garie looked very calm. Maybe it had been too long, and he was numb to
the fact.
“That’s why I can’t leave here. You have to come here,” Dr. Garie didn’t want to
talk about this topic anymore. He looked at Joe seriously.
Joe nodded. “We’ll leave now, and come back in a few days…”
“Of course, no problem.” Dr. Garie had long expected that he would make such a
request. “Her current situation is stable. As long as she is not stimulated again,
she can maintain her current state, but she will not regain her memory.”
Joe’s heart sank.
Joe hadn’t caught Smollett yet, and they didn’t even know if Smollett was dead or
alive. Anyway, he was like a ticking time bomb hidden in the dark. If it couldn’t be
dealt with in time, it would become very tricky.
“Thank you.” Joe stood up. “I will finish my affairs in the shortest amount of time
and bring her here for treatment.”
Dr. Garie nodded, “Okay.”
Charlotte didn’t wake up until the afternoon of the next day.
However, Charlotte’s condition had improved a lot. Not only had the dark circles
under her eyes receded significantly, but even her eyes had become lively.
Charlotte hugged Joe as soon as she woke up.
“Joe, I didn’t have a nightmare!” Charlotte almost cried with joy.
During this period of nightmare, Charlotte was like a drowning person trapped in
a sticky, dark, and damp swamp. Not only did she have to suffer mental damage

not careful.
Now, the darkness that had been pressing down on Charlotte had been cleared,
which made her feel completely relaxed.
“Yeah, congratulations,” Joe k*ssed her forehead. He was also sincerely happy
for her.

Charlotte was completely awake, both of them felt a little shy.
Joe coughed lightly, and looked at Charlotte, “Let’s go down.”
Downstairs, Evelina had already prepared a table of food. When she saw
Charlotte coming down, the smile on her face deepened.
“Charlotte, come on. You’re too thin, and you need to be in high spirits,” Evelina
said as she pushed Charlotte to the dining table. “Don’t think about anything now.
Have a good meal first.”
Charlotte also knew that this was the good intention of Evelina. She was really
hungry, so Charlotte did not refuse.
Joe couldn’t remember how long it had been since he last saw Charlotte eating
so happily. When he saw the scene in front of him, he couldn’t help curling his
l*ps.
After dinner, Charlotte obediently followed Dr. Garie into the study again.
More than ten minutes later, Dr. Garie came out with a smile. “As I expected, her
nightmare has been completely solved.”
