Not only did Erik think so, but even Joe had such suspicions.
His distant gaze fell on Charlotte, who was laughing and chatting with Ben
and Anna. If she had been hypnotized while conscious at that time, could
there be information she left in that villa?
With that thought, Joe immediately had an idea.
Even if there is no information, revisiting the place might trigger Charlotte’s
memories.
“Keep an eye on that villa; I might take her there in a few days,” Joe said to
Erik, looking at Charlotte.
Erik immediately agreed with a serious expression.
The next day, Joe used an excuse that Charlotte didn’t feel well to reject
Smollett’s treatment and secretly took Charlotte to CAL Restaurant.
After much consideration, he still thought CAL Restaurant was the best place
to keep things under wraps.
When the two arrived at his private room in CAL Restaurant, three
authoritative psychologists were already waiting.
As soon as Charlotte entered the room, the gaze of the three psychologists
immediately fell on her.
Due to Charlotte’s unique situation, after consulting with her individually, the
three decided to conduct a joint consultation with her.
The oldest among them, Dorothy, began to speak after some hesitation,
“Based on our examination just now, Mrs. Smith’s condition is not as severe
as we had initially thought.”
At this remark, both Joe and Charlotte were shocked.
Perhaps it was because Morgan had initially said that he couldn’t treat
Charlotte, and also due to Smollett’s exaggerations, they had always thought
that Charlotte’s condition was very severe and had even prepared themselves
for the possibility that she might never recover.
And now they’re saying it’s not as bad as they thought?
Seeing the misunderstanding between Joe and Charlotte, Dorothy quickly
explained, “What we mean is not that Mrs. Smith’s condition is not severe, but
that she has the potential to heal.”
“Really?” Joe looked at Dorothy with excitement.
Dorothy nodded solemnly, “The effects of the drug Nusparin are not
irreversible; it just requires a long time to metabolize. As for her psychological
suggestions and hypnosis…as long as the Nusparin in her b*dy is
metabolized, we can help remove them.”
Upon hearing this, both Joe and Charlotte felt as if a weight had been lifted off
their shoulders.
What’s left probably has to wait until Charlotte is fully cured.
“As for the emotional fluctuations that Mrs. Smith mentioned earlier, we do
believe they are improving,” Dorothy said with a smile to Charlotte, “Perhaps
it’s because your family has stimulated your emotions, and they are slowly
recovering.”
Thinking about what had happened since her return, Charlotte also felt that
everyone, be it Joe, Ben, Anna, or anyone else, had provided her with high
emotional value.
“Next, continue to keep her happy, maybe even create some happy memories
for her; this may be even better for her,” Dorothy added.
Create happy memories?
Joe subconsciously looked at Charlotte, meeting her eyes, and they
exchanged smiles.
Seeing this, Dorothy and the others also smiled.
They were never worried that they couldn’t cure their patients; their only
concern was that the patients themselves would lose confidence and give up
first.
