Charlotte and Joe left together.
The car sped along the road, and Charlotte’s mood gradually calmed down.
Until the car drove into a beautifully exquisite Burkina-Faso-style manor.
“What is this?” Charlotte looked at the unfamiliar Smith Manor, feeling as if
she had been there more than once.
She looked at Joe with great confusion.
“Let’s go in first,” Joe was non-committal, walking to Charlotte’s side and
extending a hand, “May I hold your hand?”
Charlotte hesitated for a second, then reached out her hand into his.
Seeing their hands held together, Joe subtly curled his l*ps.
They walked into the main building, and Charlotte looked around.
“This place…” She looked at Joe hesitantly, “I feel like I’ve been here before.”
Although it was her first time coming here after losing her memory, she could
accurately predict where the next piece of furniture would be, and even the
layout of the whole house felt familiar.
It was as if…this place was designed by her.
“This Manor was designed by you. Every piece of furniture inside was
personally chosen by you,” Joe smiled at Charlotte, who was stunned.

again.

“It’s okay; we can take our time,” Joe said casually, “Today’s visit is not mainly
to make you remember the past.”
Joe led Charlotte through the main hall to the first small building on the right.
Originally, Charlotte had only decorated all these small buildings but had not
designated their use.
During this period, Joe had quietly had this small building modified. He
opened the door to the small building, and right at the entrance was a
beautifully drawn architectural diagram.
Charlotte found it a bit strange, who would use architectural drawings as
decorative paintings?
Joe gave a mysterious smile, pulling Charlotte further inside.
Charlotte was stunned.
The walls of the small building were covered with various architectural
diagrams and photographs.
“These are all your past works. Although you’ve lost your memory, they are all
your carefully crafted past,” Joe looked at Charlotte earnestly, “You may not
remember, but they will always be with you.”
Charlotte was silent as she carefully stared at the architectural drawings on
the wall.
Although she couldn’t remember the process of creating them, she felt
familiar when looking at them.
She smiled and turned to Joe, “Thank you!”
Not only that, Joe continued to lead Charlotte inside.
The entire hall had been transformed into a huge studio, complete with a
variety of drawing tools, as well as oil paints and canvases.
“I spoke to a psychologist, and he suggested that having a creative outlet
might be helpful for your condition,” Joe said, glancing at the workbench and
slightly tightening his grip on Charlotte’s hand.
“There’s nothing to fear about losing the past. We can start creating the future
from now on,” Joe said, looking intently at Charlotte.
Charlotte was taken aback, her eyes suddenly stinging. She rubbed her eyes
subconsciously and found a tear forming.
