Chapter 703 We Didn’t Do Anything Wrong
The woman was taken aback, immediately trying to relentlessly grab and pull at
the man. The man, of course, wouldn’t let her succeed easily. Seeing a potential
fight brewing, Charlotte had no interest in being a bystander.
“Just a moment ago, when she was angry, you didn’t stop her. Now, there’s no
need to put all the blame on her,” Charlotte coldly interrupted the man. “If my
children have truly disturbed you, I will apologize. But if you’re looking for an
excuse to cause trouble, I a*sure you’ll regret your actions.”
Charlotte gave the man a warning look. “You should know I have the means.”

The man nodded repeatedly, saying, “I understand, I understand. We just had a
little argument earlier, and she directed her anger at your children. We’re truly
sorry.”

She forced a smile and said, “I was impulsive just now. I apologize.”
Charlotte had no intention of digging any deeper. She merely cast a faint glance
at them before walking away.

“How dare you talk about divorce with me?” The woman, who had just calmed
down, flared up again, and the two of them plunged into another round of
argument.
In the original private room, William looked slyly at Joe. “They’re making quite a
scene over there. Aren’t you going to protect your wife?”
“My mom doesn’t need protection! My mom is the most formidable in the world!”
Before Joe could respond, Anna proudly puffed out her little ch*st and said.
Ben nodded in agreement from the sidelines, his eyes filled with concern as he
looked toward the door.
Coincidentally, Charlotte returned at that moment. She gently patted Ben’s head
and whispered, “It’s all sorted out now. You weren’t scared, were you?”
“Not at all! We know we didn’t do anything wrong; those people were just
causing a scene,” Anna confidently declared.
Charlotte smiled and playfully tapped her nose. “You’re right. As long as we
haven’t done anything wrong, there’s no need to be afraid.”
William watched the entire process of Charlotte teaching the children and
couldn’t help but express his admiration, “I never expected Joe to be so lucky,
finding such a great wife.”
He could clearly see that Ben and Anna had been taught very well.
Despite this little incident, it didn’t affect their enthusiasm for buying the island.
The auction began shortly, and Ben and Anna fixed their eyes on the auctioneer
below, afraid of missing out on something good.
