Chapter 410 Revisiting the Old Homeland
“Ms. Conner.” Stanley frowned at me, probably not understanding why I was still prepared to go with Ezra even though I clearly knew everything.
Looking at them, I said, “I didn’t expect you guys would come this far to see me off, thank you.”
After speaking, I avoided Walter’s gaze and returned to the cabin.
Of course, I had no way of knowing what happened next. However, after a short while, I distinctly felt the ship moving, and the patrol boat was getting farther and farther away from me.
Having fooled Walter and Stanley, Ezra seemed to be in a good mood. When he entered the door, there was still a smile on his devilishly handsome face.

Then came his slightly restrained voice, “I thought you would choose to go with him just now. After all, this is not River City, and I may not be able to do what I want to do.”
I glanced sideways at his devilishly handsome face, raising an eyebrow, “You would let me go with him?”
He hooked his l*ps, his eyes gleaming with radiance, dangerously attractive, “If you really want to leave, it’s not impossible. I will have him leave his hands as an exchange. If he agrees, then I might consider letting you go.”
“Madman!” Pushing him away, I stood up and distanced myself from him. This man was a devil to the core, with absolutely no trace of humanity.
Pushed away by me, he wasn’t angry. He just tilted his head and looked at me with a smile, appearing harmless. “I just wanted to know how much he really loves you, why did that drive him crazy?”
Looking at him, something suddenly occurred to me. I walked up to him, leaned in close, and asked, “Ezra, do you like me?”
Standing too close, I could almost clearly see his beautiful skin. It was strange, a person who had been engulfed by a fire, could still make his face so delicate, without a single flaw.
His brows furrowed, his attractive l*ps pursed, a somewhat inscrutable expression appeared on his devilishly handsome face. A few seconds later, he took a few steps back, indifferently saying, “Tabatha, you think too highly of yourself.”
Watching him leave, I finally got some peace.

Without the obstruction of the police, Ezra’s ship smoothly entered the high seas, and from then on, it became increasingly uncontrollable.

In just three to five days, I had once again arrived at the old place where I used to stay – Fallwall.
This place, was my nightmare, and upon returning, it was the same.

I didn’t look at him, I indifferently glanced around, sneered, and looked · up at him, saying, “Like? Like what? The bones buried under our feet? Or the many lost souls imprisoned under the red walls and white tiles?”
Perhaps he really didn’t like what I said. He gave me a cold glance and ignored me, directly stepping into the villa.
Sebastian glanced at me sideways, pursed his l*ps, seemingly hesitant to speak, but in the end, he let out a slight sigh and followed me into the villa.
