Chapter 283 Sebastian Got Lost
He was a man on the Freyhedge rich list, presumably having lived a life of luxury for half his life. Not to mention enduring such hardship, even injuries, he might never have experienced before.

The sky outside had already brightened, after a whole night of rain, the wind outside was cold. From the cave entrance, not much could be seen. I was somewhat excited, turning back to Daniel with a smile, “We can go out now.”
He looked at me and smiled, his eyes somewhat deep and somewhat light. Perhaps it was due to the darkness in the cave, I always felt that when he looked at me, there was something in his dark eyes that I couldn’t understand. Of course, it was definitely not some inexplicable feelings between men and women, it seemed like something else.

chilling. It was from moving these stones earlier. I was so focused on getting out that I only noticed the pain, thinking I had just scraped the skin, not expecting it to bleed.
Seeing this, I hurriedly tried to withdraw my hand, to wipe off the blood, but was suddenly held by him. He looked at the wound on my hand, then at me, and asked, “Does it hurt?”
I paused for a moment, feeling that if two people were to discuss such trivial matters at this time, it would indeed be a bit pretentious.
He looked at him and said, “It hurts a bit, but I can handle it. Let’s go, we should leave first.”
He paused slightly, giving a somewhat helpless smile. He then extended his hand to support me as we left the cave.
Looking at everything outside, both Daniel and I were stunned. The scene outside at that moment seemed like a different world from what we had seen last night.
Such a vast forest was almost entirely covered by mud, even our car was nowhere to be found. At a glance, it was almost desolate in front of us.
“Debris flow!” That was the only thing I could think of. This cave, due to its high location and surrounded by large boulders, was spared when the ma*sive debris flow swept past. Therefore, when the debris flow occurred just now, it only shook for a while, and the cave was not affected much.
The vast expanse of forest around us was almost entirely covered. Daniel and I withdrew our gaze, suddenly remembering Sebastian. At the time of the accident, he had gone nearby to gather firewood.
My heart suddenly jolted, not allowing me to think further. I had a
sudden bad premonition, my b*dy instantly feeling a few degrees colder. I glanced at Daniel and said, “Sebastian has been out for so long, could something have happened to him?”
Daniel pursed his l*ps, without uttering a word.
The forest we were looking at was almost completely covered. If Sebastian happened to be in the forest when the incident occurred, there would have been no time to hide…
Thinking of this, my heart sank even more.
Still holding onto a glimmer of hope, I shouted towards the vast, obscured forest, “Sebastian!”
The only response to me was a faint echo, neither deep nor distant.
The wind was strong in the mountains, and it seemed like the rain was slowly starting to fall again.
Upon seeing this, Daniel spoke, “We need to go to higher ground first, otherwise if it happens again, this place is not safe.”
The car could no longer be found, I didn’t know if it was carried away by the mudslide.
We didn’t have any tools to shelter from the rain. As Daniel said, if we continued to stay here, we wouldn’t be able to escape if there was another disaster on the mountain.
But there was no news from Sebastian. I looked at him, my heart aching, “What if we leave and Sebastian comes back and can’t find -us?”
Daniel pursed his l*ps, fell silent for a moment, looked around, found a high and conspicuous place, and marked it for Sebastian. He looked at me and said, “We leave marks all the way, if he comes back, he should
be able to see them.”
Seeing this, it seemed that this was the only way.
