Upon hearing about the drowning, the old lady was taken aback and said, “How on earth did this happen out of the blue?”
Afraid that she might cause trouble, Emma quickly interjected, “There are many ponds in the backyard of this house, she might have sl*pped
in while playing and caught a chill. Grandma, don’t worry, after we finish eating, I’ll take her to get some medicine and she’ll be fine.”
