Chapter 11 Rivera Group Was Disqualified
In Rivera Manor, Peria had been waiting for Levi for a long time. She took Levi’s coat and was stunned when she saw Naomi behind Levi.
“Ms. Turner, I have prepared a room for you. You can walk down the corridor and see the room.” Naomi followed Levi and was about to enter the Rivera Manor when she heard Peria’s words. She stopped and looked at Peria in disbelief. “Don’t Levi and I live in a room?”
Levi had agreed to her living in Rivera Manor, so he should have tacitly agreed to marry her in the future.
Living together was normal.
Levi heard this and frowned.

Fearing that Gianna would leave any clues in the house, Sienna had asked Peria to tidy up an extra guest room.
“I have to work later. You go to your room and have a rest.”
Levi glanced at Naomi indifferently and motioned her to leave.

Naomi followed Levi unwillingly and wanted to ask him. Peria got Levi’s order and stopped her. “Ms. Turner, please come with me.”
The elevator door in Rivera Manor closed, blocking Levi’s indifferent face.
Naomi suppressed her dissatisfaction. She always felt that after she returned from abroad this time, Levi’s attitude towards her had changed.
He kept her at arm’s length. She couldn’t figure out what he thought.
Levi returned to the study and changed into his bathrobe after showering. He flipped through the documents in his hand but was not in the mood to read them.
In the past, at this time, Gianna would bring a glass of hot milk to the study and then return to the bedroom to wait for him.
But sometimes he would spend the night in the study. Even though he occasionally returned to the bedroom, he would sleep on the sofa. She never changed the habit of bringing him a glass of hot milk before sleeping.
After waiting a long time today, no one came to the study.

His mobile phone vibrated. He took it and saw the caller was Jason. His brows furrowed imperceptibly, and he didn’t know why he had the emotion just now.
“Mr. Rivera, I just received a call from the person in charge of the Dubai Medical Exhibition. The man said that Rivera Group was disqualified from participating in the exhibition because of insufficient funding.”
Levi’s face turned cold quickly. Before Gianna resigned, she was responsible for these matters. Now, these tasks fell on Jason.
“Share? The medical exhibition determines the list based on the amount each group contributes to the Red Cross. Rivera Group’s funding reached 300 million dollars last year. How could the
funding is not enough?”
Jason sensed that Levi was in a bad mood. He was sweating coldly. “I’m confused about it too. I wanted to call Ms. Lewis to ask her about this matter, but her phone number has already been logged out…”
Jason dared not to continue talking about the following words.
The study was in a dead silence. Levi frowned, remembering Gianna took off her uniform in the office without hesitation and resolutely wanted to leave at the risk of being laughed at. An unknown emotion rolled in his chest.
If he remembered correctly, Gianna had told him that she was born in a rural area. After years of hard work, she finally got admitted to university and stayed in a big city.
She worked hard and opened a clothing shop. But she closed it not long after marrying Levi.
In these years, she had no extra income except for the pocket money the Rivera family would giv her regularly,
Where could a penniless woman go?
“Jason, go to Gianna’s hometown.” Levi still remembered the address of her rural hometown that Gianna had given him. He didn’t believe that she would disappear for no reason.
“Second, contact the organizer of the exhibition in Dubai. I want to see the general leader of it.”
After hanging up the phone, Levi threw the phone on the table. His face became more and more gloomy.
