Chapter 13 Thiago’s Origin
“I was the last one to know the news of your return. I’m so sad! Gianna, you wasted all my concern on you
for many years!”
Gianna heard the man’s voice and knew the comer was her third brother, Thiago Lewis.
Thiago was not her biological brother. He was abandoned at birth and picked up by the Lewis family.
Gianna didn’t turn her gaze from the document. “Sit for a while, and don’t disturb me.”
She spent three days but still hadn’t sorted out all the documents handed over by Chaim’s secretary.
She had to answer nearly a hundred calls from cooperative groups worldwide in a day. She felt her head was getting bigger.
Thiago didn’t mind her attitude. Sitting on the sofa, he said, “Chaim is too cruel to you. He ordered you to deal with so many documents. I guess he is training you to be the heir. It’s a heavy work for you. Gianna, go and accompany me on the concert tour. Just take a break”
“No.”
Gianna said while collating documents, “I haven’t forgotten that time when I went to your concert. Your fans thought I was your girlfriend and beat me. If Chaim didn’t come in time, I would be injured and get a few stitches on my head.”
“You still remember this!”
Thiago was overjoyed all of a sudden. He rubbed his lower lip and smiled at Gianna. “You said that you don’t like me. Why do you still remember every detail of me being with
you so clearly?!” Gianna was speechless. She withdrew her gaze from the document, looked up at Thiago, and rolled her eyes at him. “If you have delusions, you need to be treated.
Thiago smiled. “Only you can cure my disease.”
Gianna ignored his nonsense.
Fortunately, she had long been used to the type of chatting with Thiago. She was not at all uncomfortable.
Thiago had loved singing since he was a child. Now, he was already a famous singer overseas.
He was usually busy but was willing to spend his time on Gianna.
When Gianna was determined to marry Levi, he canceled the upcoming concert and wanted to fly. to Silver City to beat Levi up. In the end, Chaim stopped him.
Gianna thought back and didn’t know why she ignored so many good men around her but fell in love with Levi at first sight.
“The phone is coming. I’ll answer it.”
Her mobile phone was vibrating again. She glanced at the screen. It was still that unknown. number.
Thiago immediately shut up, watching Gianna go to the window wall to answer the phone. “Hello, is this the new president’s assistant of Empyrean Group? Regarding Rivera Group’s disqualification from participating in the Dubai Medical Exhibition, can we…”
The man on the other end of the phone was Jason.
No wonder Chaim told her the incoming calls from the Rivera Group’s landline would be intercepted. So the person simply called with an unknown number.
Jason was ordered to contact the person in charge of the exhibition. It was also Levi’s instruction.
“There is no concession on this matter. Rivera Group’s funding is not up to the standard. I think the previous secretary should have communicated with you about this point,” Gianna answered in a businesslike manner. She was telling the truth.
Levi thought the Rivera Group was qualified enough. But in fact, the Rivera Group could participate in the exhibition because of Gianna. It couldn’t have had the chance if she hadn’t spoken for the Rivera Group in front of Chaim.
“Ms. Lewis?”
On the other end of the phone, Jason was shocked.
He had worked with Gianna for a long time. He immediately recognized her voice.
Gianna was neither denied nor admitted. “I’m busy, so I’ll hang up first.”
After hanging up the phone, she took a deep breath.
She was sure that Jason was in Levi’s office and made the call in front of Levi.
Levi’s expression at this moment must have changed dramatically.
As she guessed, Jason was indeed in the president’s office of the Rivera Group. He handed the mobile phone to Levi and said in disbelief, “The new president’s assistant of the Empyrean Group seems to be Ms. Lewis from her voice… Mr. Rivera… How could she be…”
Levi pulled a long face. He also heard Gianna’s voice.
Just now, Jason had just reported that there was no information about Gianna’s so–called parents ( in that village.

That woman lied to the Rivera family with a fake identity for three years!
“Mr. Rivera, will the Rivera Group still join in that exhibition…”
Jason looked at Levi’s gloomy face and wasn’t sure if the Rivera Group could participate in the exhibition.
“Call her again.”
Levi ordered and compressed his lips into a thin line.
Jason had no choice but to nod his head.
