“No, the more it’s like this, the more we need to stay strong. We can’t let the outside world think I’m afraid,” Gianna declared.
Did they expect her to succumb to rumors?

Gianna threw back the covers and headed to the bathroom to freshen up.

All entertainment journalists had been waiting for a long time.
A red Porsche pulled up in front of them.
Erwin, sitting in the car, reminded her, “Ms. Lewis, would you like to wear sungla*ses or a hat to shield yourself? These people are ruthless when it comes to taking pictures, and it might affect your mood.”
“No need,” Gianna replied. She raised a bright smile, radiating beauty with a touch of sharpness. She was quite satisfied with her appearance.
“I want them to know that they can’t affect me at all.”
Erwin got out of the car ahead of her. The security team had already prepared, forming a human wall to create a path and shield the reporters behind them.
Erwin opened the car door to wait for Gianna.
She wore an exquisite, jewel–encrusted gown, exuding a dazzling aura. Her flawless smile defied expectations. Reporters, who had anticipated that the “Scandal Queen” Gianna would appear disheveled, were taken aback. She seemed completely unaffected.
Camera flashes kept popping, but Gianna walked inside with unwavering determination. “Gianna! Do you plan to apologize to Mr. Rivera for your infidelity within your marriage?” “How long did you and Simon maintain an inappropriate relationship during this marriage?”
“Do you
still remember the names of those who were bullied?”
“Have you thought about how to atone for your actions?”
At that moment, a cup of juice was hurled from behind the reporters, aimed to strike the back of Gianna’s head. However, a swift figure appeared and intercepted it with their hand.
Chaim’s gaze pierced like an arrow towards the direction it came from. He instructed the nearby security personnel, “Identify the person who threw it.”
“Yes!”
Gianna stared in astonishment at Chaim’s sudden appearance, feeling a surge of relief. She took his arm and became dependent on him.
When trouble arose, Chaim was there without hesitation.
The reporters went even more berserk upon seeing Chaim.
“Mr. Chaim Lewis, have you seen Gianna’s incriminating evidence?”
“Will you continue to trust her and stay with her?”
“Would Mr. Bill Lewis agree to let such a tarnished reputation marry into the family?”

Chaim’s face turned extremely gloomy, and he had no desire to engage with this unruly bunch. He tightened his grip on Gianna’s arm, and the two of them quickly moved further inside.
They entered the building and made their way to the office.
Chaim brewed a steaming cup of coffee for Gianna, his eyes filled with concern. “How are you? Are you okay?”
“I’m fine.”
Gianna flashed a radiant smile.
Chaim playfully tapped Gianna’s nose. “You always insist on being strong–willed. I told you to stay home, but you still came out.”
“Well, they said some infuriating things, and I couldn’t just back down,” Gianna replied.
Chaim knew that Gianna could stand up for herself, which was a sign that she was fine.
“Before I came back, Grandfather made a decision. He plans to officially announce your status as a member of the Lewis family at his seventieth birthday celebration. This way, it will put an end to baseless attacks on your identity from outsiders.”
When Gianna was young and attending the Royal Academy, Bill was concerned that someone might target her due to her identity, so he kept her true status a secret.
Later, when Gianna pursued her pa*sion for the arts and didn’t return to work at Lewis Group, her absence from the public eye contributed to the misconception that Lewis Group had only three young masters, not a young lady.
“Since you’re returning, this is a perfect opportunity for the announcement,” Chaim said, looking at his sister. “Are you prepared?”
Gianna nodded confidently. “Yes.”
“Good. Then be a good girl and stay at home for a few days. In a couple of days, we’ll return to Dubai, and you can join us later.”
Gianna listened quietly, and at that moment, her phone chimed with a message.

Gianna saw the message and smiled warmly. These kids were amazing. They actually followed through with their agreement.
