Chapter 59 I’m Divorced 

Secing what Maverick had done, all the couples in the restaurant looked over and excitedly discussed in low voices whether it was a proposal. 

Victor and his wife were not far away. 

His wife had just forgiven Victor a few days ago, and he begged her to have a date night with him. Seeing Gianna, he took out his phone, took a photo of Maverick’s back, and sent it to Levi. 

He also sent a message. [Bro, look. Your ex–wife has found a new man. He looks quite handsome.] At Rivera Group, Levi was in a meeting. His face instantly darkened after reading the message. Then, he slammed his phone on the table, startling those in the meeting. 

He picked up the coat on the back of the chair and said coldly, “You guys continue. I gotta go.” Then, he opened the door and left, rushing to the restaurant. 

Maverick sat up straight and said seriously, “Beauty, my previous confession in public did seem very reckless, and I made you have a bad impression of me. I apologize to you.” 

“I accept your apology. Don’t do it again.” 

Maverick looked at Gianna seriously. “But I do have feelings for you. 

“At the auction, you tricked an idiot into buying a bracelet at a loss with just a few words. I was attracted by how smart you were.

Gianna remained expressionless as she listened to Maverick’s heartfelt confession. She took a sip of red wine and said with a light smile, “I’m divorced. Don’t you know that?”

Maverick had sent someone to find all the information about Gianna. However, after hearing that she worked as a general manager at Empyrean Group and was divorced, he rushed to order flowers to confess to her immediately and did not even listen to the rest of the story. 

Gianna glanced at Levi walking over with a gloomy face, somehow feeling amused. “Aren’t you worried that I was at fault for that marriage?” 

“Impossible! The person who divorced you must be an idiot. You are perfect. Divorcing you is his loss.” Maverick almost stood up excitedly. 

Gianna raised her chin and looked at the man behind Maverick. “That’s him.” 

Maverick turned around and was stunned the moment he saw Levi. 

He said, “Bro, you are here too.” 

Levi ignored him and looked at Gianna with anger in his eyes.

He didn’t expect that the man Victor said was Maverick.

shoulder. 

Levi looked at Maverick. 

It turned out that the woman Maverick was talking about in the group was Gianna! 

The three of them were in a stalemate. Victor came over and understood what was going on. 

He glanced at Gianna, making sure there was no dirty water around her, and cleared his throat, “She just told you that her ex–husband is Levi.”
