The woman hesitated for a moment. Just as she was about to say something, Bruse took out hist phone and showed it to her. “Here’s a message from Ms. White. She asked us to retrieve a design. sketch for her.”
The woman checked the phone, verifying that it was Susan’s number, and then smiled, welcoming them in. “Ms. White hasn’t returned for a long time. I didn’t expect any friends to come by. Please come in.”
Gianna raised an eyebrow, looking puzzled, and turned to Bruse.
He wore a knowing smile, and rather mysteriously, did not provide any explanation. The three of them entered the villa.
“I’ve been the housekeeper here for many years. I was planning to resign after the master and madam pa*sed away. However, Ms. White invited me to stay since I had nowhere else to go and asked me to help take care of the house.”

“Is that even possible?”
To think that someone could be convinced so easily. The Photoshop skills were quite impressive.
Bruse then continued, “Don’t forget our purpose for this trip. We need to find out what’s going
on.”
Just then, the housekeeper brought the drinks and desserts out to the living room. Gianna offered. to a*sist, “Let me help you.”
“It’s okay. I’ve been doing this for many years. Let me handle it.”
She then arranged the drinks and desserts on the coffee table for them.
