Chapter 381 Student Records
In the next moment, information about Susan appeared on the computer screen.
Gianna was the first to see it, starting with Susan’s fresh-faced enrollment photo. While there was a difference from her current appearance, it was evident that she had matured, with more defined
features.
The student records also confirmed that Susan was indeed one year ahead of Gianna.
“What she said was actually true,” Gianna murmured.
Shawn also leaned in, his gaze fixed on the screen, but Gianna didn’t stop clicking the mouse.
She kept scrolling until she opened Susan’s design drafts from her student days, and her eyes widened with surprise.
“How… how is this possible?”
The first image was unmistakably the flagship design for a boutique, albeit less refined than the current version. The flagship design seemed like an evolution of this original draft.
It seemed like this was the original manuscript!
“This is impossible!”
Gianna said firmly, “There must be something wrong here.”
She continued to scroll through the screen, discovering several more designs in the same style, which appeared relatively mature, showcasing a high level of design skill.
“Did you draw these designs?”
Gianna shook her head. “My initial drafts weren’t like this, and these designs aren’t mine either. But why do these strange, 80% similar drafts appear in Susan’s file? What’s going on?”
As she spoke, her confusion was evident in her eyes.
Just then, Kelly returned from outside and noticed Gianna’s troubled expression. Her gaze was drawn to the screen. “Susan? Gianna, do you know her?”
Gianna’s eyes focused intently as she grabbed Kelly and asked, “Madam, do you know her?”
Kelly nodded and replied, “I do, she’s a year ahead of you, but she wasn’t my student. Her advisor was William. Why do you ask? Is there a problem?”
Gianna pointed at the designs on the screen, her voice trembling slightly. “Did she draw these designs?”
Kelly looked puzzled but explained, “If they’re in her file, they should be her designs. I’m not very familiar with her design style, though. If you want to learn more about her, you can ask William.”
Kelly found it strange as well.
The records office personnel had a*sured her that personal file information was accurately recorded, and errors were unlikely.
However, even she couldn’t explain why Gianna’s file contained designs that weren’t hers.
“Is he at the school now?”
Kelly thought for a moment, then replied, “He should be.”
“Can you please take us to see him?”
Kelly did not refuse, “Okay, you come with me.”
10:22
Gianna took a deep breath and shut down the system. As they left, Shawn, who had been quietly. observing, looked back at the glowing screen, his eyes narrowing.
“Gianna, you go ahead. I’ll catch up with you later.”
Gianna was deeply absorbed in her thoughts and didn’t think much of it. She followed Kelly out of
the room.
“William is about to retire. His pa*sion for design isn’t as strong as his dedication to his
experiments. He no longer teaches and spends his days in the lab researching those peculiar things of his…”
On the way, Kelly provided Gianna with information about William, including his daily habits, personality traits, and other details.
