Chapter 320 No Longer Serves Any Purpose
Gianna lowered her gaze without uttering a word.
Levi continued, “I’m aware of the harm Naomi has caused you, and she’ll face the consequences.” He continued, “You might wonder why I got her out of prison. It’s all for today.”
Gianna met Levi’s gaze when she asked, “Mr. Rivera, I appreciate everything you’ve done, but… It no longer serves any purpose.”
Levi was panicked.
“No, Gianna, how can it not serve à purpose?”
Gianna didn’t reply, but deep down, she had an answer.
Even though Levi and Naomi’s past relationship had been innocent, the damage caused to her was irreversible.
The plane crash had opened her eyes to who Levi was, and she had learned not to repeat. her mistakes.
“Mr. Rivera, you can’t make ripe fruit out of a forcibly picked one, and emotional scars can’t be mended with mere words,” Gianna explained.
“I’ve already left behind that chapter of my life. Please, Mr. Rivera. There’s no need to invest more time in me.” Gianna concluded.
With that, Gianna turned away without a hint of nostalgia. Levi attempted to grasp her coat but failed.
He watched Gianna leave helplessly.
At that moment, he suddenly realized how important Gianna was to him.
It was unclear how much time had pa*sed, but Levi’s b*dy had gone numb when his b*dyguards. finally entered the room. “Mr. Rivera, how should we handle the woman outside?”
Levi’s mind slowly returned, and his gaze remained devoid of warmth as he responded, “Deliver her to Gunner! Her destiny, be it life or death, rests solely in her hands.”
“Yes, Mr. Rivera.”
After leaving Levi, Gianna remained melancholic. She sat in the car, gazing out the window, lost in her thoughts. Her mind wandered far away until a sudden ringtone interrupted her contemplation.
“Chaim!”
On the other end of the phone, Chaim could sense her unhappiness and quipped. “So, I heard you’re running the show now with Jax’s crew in Silver City.”
Gianna responded, “Chaim, you’re quite the newshound! It looks like you’re getting updates even quicker than before.”
“Of course. I’m interested in what’s going on with you. However, it sounds like you’re not in a good.
mood?”
Gianna quickly denied, “No, not at all! I’m just thinking about some things. A bit distracted, that’s all.”
“Gianna, you’ve brought me a lot of pleasant surprises lately. Empyrean Group is flourishing under your guidance. Flenning is about to host an exceptional business summit. Would you be interested

in going and taking a break?” Chaim asked.
Gianna thought the idea was excellent. “Sure! When is it?”
“In just three days! If your schedule allows, consider returning.”
Flenning was Gianna’s hometown. After being away for so long, she was eager to visit. Gianna agreed, “Alright, I’ll return as soon as possible.”
After sorting out her business matters, Gianna returned to Flenning the following day together with Raymond. Their private plane touched down on the airstrip at the Lewis Manor.
Jonathan had been eagerly awaiting her arrival. As she stepped off the plane, he greeted her with a wave. “Gianna…”
Gianna rushed over and threw herself into Jonathan’s embrace. “Jonathan, I missed you so much…”
Jonathan affectionately tousled Gianna’s hair and quipped. “You’ve always got a knack for sweet
talk.”
Gianna playfully stuck out her tongue and countered. “No, really. I’m just telling the truth.”
