Chapter 318 Levi Showed Up
Despite Naomi’s pleas, Gunner remained resolute.
He pushed Naomi away and ordered, “Someone, come and get her!” However, moments pa*sed, and no one entered the room.
Gunner furrowed his brow in confusion and decided to open the door himself. “I told in and get her. Can’t you hear me?”
Before Gunner could complete his sentence, he was met with a deep, imposing gaze.
A man with a commanding presence stood before him, exuding an air of dominance. “Mr. Rivera, why are you here?” Gunner inquired.

to come
Levi did not respond to Gunner’s query. Instead, he strode into the room. Upon spotting Levi, Naomi rushed toward him as though she had found a lifeline.
“Levi, you’re here? Please, save me, save me…” Naomi hurriedly rushed over and pleaded.
Levi paused, gazing at her with no hint of empathy. His eyes filled with contempt.
“Mr. Rivera, you didn’t come here for her. Did you?” Gunner’s voice echoed, and Naomi’s face lit up with hope.
“Levi, take me away, please. I promise I’ll heed your counsel and won’t provoke Gianna again.” Levi coldly snorted, his tone devoid of warmth, “Gunner, I’m taking her with me. I’ll return her to you in two hours.”
Although Gunner was perplexed, he dared not confront Levi. He glanced at Naomi on the floor and remarked, “Mr. Rivera, is a woman like her worth your trouble? Why not just send her off to Dawn City?”
Levi remained unfazed. “I’m not negotiating with you. I’m just letting you know.”
He paid no heed to Gunner’s displeased expression and instructed his men to escort Naomi away Gunner seethed angrily, his clenched fists pounding into the wall.
“Levi, we’ll see about this.”
Levi brought Naomi to an old-fashioned house. Upon their arrival, the b*dyguards showed no mercy, pushing her roughly to the ground.
Naomi staggered to her feet and approached Levi, her voice trembling with desperation. “Levi, deep down, I know you care about me. Please, save me from Silver City,” she implored.
Levi, however, remained stoic and unwavering, his expression cold and emotionless. “Naomi, you understand I brought you here for a specific reason. To uncover the truth,” he declared.
Naomi appeared puzzled by his question. “The truth?” She repeated.
Levi turned to face her, his gaze penetrating and intense. “Tell me, Naomi. Who was the father of that child from the past?” He inquired.
Naomi took a few moments to process his question, her mind slowly awakening.
She looked at Levi, who maintained his serious demeanor, before breaking into mocking laughter reverberating through the room. “Hahahahaha…”
After much time, Naomi’s laughter subsided, and she began teasing Levi. “So, you’ve gone through all this trouble just to learn about that? Let me guess. It’s got something to do with Gianna, doesn’t
it?”
Despite having his ulterior motives exposed, Levi remained unperturbed. “All I need is the truth from you,” he replied.
Naomi shook her head slightly, her tone filled with triumph as she continued, “Levi, couldn’t you just accept that the child is yours? I mean, it’s not around anymore… Even if you deny it, there’s no evidence left, right?”
Naomi wore a cunning smile as if she had found a weakness in Levi.
