Chapter 311 Did She Seek You Out?
Kaylee’s complexion turned ashen upon hearing Naomi.
“What did you say?” She gasped.
Naomi responded with a mocking laugh, brimming with arrogance.
After all this time, Naomi had finally gotten what she’d been waiting for.
“Don’t believe it, huh? But the fact remains. Gianna has met her end in Dawn City, and I believe it won’t be long before this news reaches your ears.”
Kaylee was now utterly furious.
Gripping a broom, she swung it at Naomi and shouted, “You awful woman, homewrecker, a pest in the garbage! I won’t put up with your nonsense here. I’ll make you wish you were never born!” Naomi quickly dodged the broom, continuing her taunts with a smirk. “Hahaha, keep on cursing! “Even if you hurl curses my way, it won’t bring Gianna back to life. There’s a chance she no longer has a complete b*dy.
“I’d advise you to prepare more offerings and pray for Gianna. If she’s up in heaven, she might just bless you.”
Kaylee’s anger caused her cheeks to flush crimson as she strode toward Naomi. With a burst of strength, she delivered a resounding slap across Naomi’s face.
Much to her surprise, Naomi seemed oddly unfazed, continuing her loud laughter. Her
b*dyguards quickly stepped in, holding Kaylee back and forcefully leading her toward the store’s entrance despite her struggle.
Naomi’s laughter turned sinister as she watched Kaylee from her elevated vantage point, propping herself up on her hip to avoid falling.
“Challenging me? You folks are way out of your league.” Naomi jeered at Kaylee.
“Gianna wouldn’t have a shot against me even in another life.
“It’s a darn shame I couldn’t see Gianna’s fate with my own eyes…”
“Hahaha…”
With that, Naomi turned and departed without hesitation, leaving Kaylee in a bewildered daze, her vision blurred.
After Kaylee had gathered herself, she wasted no time dialing Gianna’s number on her phone. Alas, there was no answer from Gianna. Panic surged through Kaylee, and she could not contain the torrents of tears.
“Gianna, please answer the phone!” Kaylee dialed repeatedly, but there was silence on the other end. She eventually tossed her phone aside in frustration and sank to the ground, sobbing. inconsolably.
Amidst this, Gianna found herself in a meeting, so she handed her phone to her secretary. When the meeting concluded, her secretary promptly returned the phone. “Ms. Lewis, you have a dozen missed calls…” The secretary informed her.
Gianna’s brow furrowed as she took the phone, noticing that all the calls were from Kaylee. Without any hesitation, she called Kaylee back.
Still immersed in her overwhelming grief, Kaylee remained oblivious to the outside world, lost in

The persistent ringing of her phone eventually pulled her back to reality.
Upon seeing Gianna’s number flashing on the screen, a glimmer of hope ignited within Kaylee. “Gianna, you finally picked up…” She said, her voice trembling with relief.
Gianna furrowed her brow, detecting the tremor in Kaylee’s voice. She quickly asked, “What’s wrong? What happened?”
Hearing the comforting tone of Gianna’s voice, Kaylee couldn’t help but express her happiness. “You’re safe… That’s all that matters.” Kaylee repeated.
Then, Kaylee wiped away her tears and harbored countless curses against Naomi deep in her heart. “That scheming Naomi, always babbling nonsense and having the audacity to curse you. If I ever cross paths with her again, I’ll make sure she pays dearly.”
On the other hand, Gianna cut to the chase and inquired, “Did Naomi seek you out?”
