Chapter 274 The White Horse Is Frightened 

Rebecca was furious and made a harsh declaration. 

“You wait and see. I will make her pay today.” 

Levi furrowed his brows and grabbed her arm. “What have you done?” 

Before Rebecca could respond, a scream of Gianna was sounded from the stable. “Ah!” 

Gianna had intended to feed Star, but suddenly, the horse seemed startled all of a sudden and 

charged straight at her. 

Gianna was caught off guard, and her initial reaction failed her. She watched in shock as the horse bore down on her, seemingly about to collide with her. 

Shawn shielded her swiftly and pulled her out of harm’s way, holding her tightly. 

“Be careful.” 

Star, however, seemed enraged, struggling forcefully against the reins as if attempting to break free from the stable. 

Gianna sensed something had gone off. 

With her years of experience with horses, she could tell that something was seriously wrong with the horse. “Shawn, there is something wrong with this horse!” 

Shawn also noticed it. 

“Star has a gentle temperament and has never behaved like this before.” 

As he said that, Levi rushed in, his tone filled with concern. “Gianna, are you alright?” 

Seeing Rebecca following close behind, Star suddenly made a violent move, crashing into the pillar by its side. Shawn quickly protected Gianna. “Watch out.” 

At the next moment, Star broke free from its reins and charged directly at Rebecca. 

Terrified, Rebecca turned and ran. 

“No! Stay away…” 

Star, seemingly furious, pounced on Rebecca, who had stumbled and fallen before long. Star’s hooves relentlessly stamped down on her back. 

A scream was sounded! 

Rebecca displayed a painful expression as Star continued to trample her b*dy mercilessly, circling her twice. 

Seeing this, the stable workers rushed out in a hurry. Shawn’s eyes darkened as he called out to stop Star, “Star!” 

At this moment, Star was completely irrational and kept roaring! 

Fortunately, the staff arrived in time and rescued Rebecca from underneath the horse. 

However, Rebecca was in a state of shock and had lost consciousness. 

Gianna’s eyes darkened as she looked at Shawn, who immediately ordered the staff, “Be quick. Call àn ambulance!” 

Gianna also took the opportunity to walk towards Star. 

At this time, Star had been calmed down. As Gianna drew near, it no longer exhibited the previous aggression. 

Gianna felt that something was amiss with the situation. 

Levi’s face was extremely unpleasant, and he paid no attention to Rebecca. Instead, he walked over to Gianna and asked, “Are you alright?” 

Gianna couldn’t help but be curious. “Mr. Rivera, aren’t you concerned about the wrong person?” However, Levi responded without mercy, “When disaster falls, one can sympathize. When it’s self–inflicted, there is no pity. What happened to her today is entirely her own doing.” 

Gianna’s eyes darkened. “Mr. Rivera, it seems you know the whole story.” 

Levi remained silent, and his silence had given the answer to Gianna. 

Soon, the ambulance arrived and took Rebecca away. Gianna approached Shawn. “Shawn, this situation is not as simple as it seems.” 

Shawn rea*sured her, “Leave it to me.” 

Rebecca’s injuries were severe. Her back had multiple bruises from being trampled by the horse, and even her face had also suffered some injuries. 

When Rebecca regained consciousness, she immediately began shouting, “That bitch, Gianna did this! She actually ordered that beast to attack me!” 

Eva, not understanding what was happening but hearing Rebecca’s words, was overcome with anger.
