Gianna smiled.
“I have no objections.”
So, everyone pitched in to prepare, and soon, someone brought a cup of ale to Gianna.
Gianna took the ale, approached Carmen, and knelt down with a thud. “Professor Hastings, please accept your disciple’s toast!”
Carmen accepted the ale and then took out a large red envelope from his pocket, handing it to
her.
“Girl, get up!”
“Thank you, Professor Hastings!”
After the initiation ceremony, Carmen was overjoyed and couldn’t help but want to show off his new disciple everywhere!
He wasn’t idle either.
He immediately sent messages to several master designers in his circle who were well–connected. There was a bit of a public announcement vibe to it!
As Gianna left the Silver University, she spotted a tall figure not far away. Before she could approach, Maverick had already noticed her.
He strode confidently toward her.
“Oh my God! You’re back?”
Gianna noticed that he looked a bit dusty and was quite surprised. She asked, “What are you doing here?”
Maverick, on the other hand, looked her up and down before asking, “I heard about the fire incident. Are you injured? Are you okay?”
“I’m fine! Don’t worry.”
Upon hearing her response, Maverick sighed in relief.
During this time, he had been busy with business negotiations in Dawn City, and hadn’t been in touch with anyone in the country. It was only when he finally got in touch that he learned about Gianna’s fire incident.
So, he rushed back as soon as he could.
Seeing that Gianna was okay, he finally felt relieved.
“Did you just land?” Gianna pointed to a nearby suitcase and asked.
Maverick didn’t deny it. Instead, he took out a stack of documents from his bag and handed them to Gianna as if he were presenting his achievements. “Here, take a look! These are my achievements from this period.”
Gianna looked at the thick stack of documents in disbelief.
Deep down, she was truly impressed by Maverick’s achievement in doing business. “This many?”
Maverick had a proud expression on his face. “Of course! I spent a whole month in Dawn City to complete this volume. So, Gianna, do you think I’m amazing? Am I much better than that guy,

Gianna silently gave him a thumbs–up.
“Maverick, you really are a formidable member of my team!”
Maverick had a mischievous smile on his face. “Since that’s the case, would you consider me? I’m not only strong in business, but I’m also definitely not a bad choice as a boyfriend!”
Gianna playfully tapped him on the shoulder.
“Alright, stop bragging. Come back to the company with me!”
Maverick’s face lit up with a smile,‘ and he quickly got into Gianna’s car as they drove away together.
In the Empyrean Group, the employees showed great respect towards Gianna when they saw her.
“Ms. Lewis!”
“Hello, Ms. Lewis!”
Gianna nodded in response to each of them and entered the elevator with Maverick.
A few front desk employees huddled together and whispered softly.
“What’s the relationship between Ms. Lewis and this Maverick guy?”
“It doesn’t look simple at all, does it?”
“Tsk tsk! Don’t you know? Maverick is pursuing Ms. Lewis!”
“Oh my, really? I heard Ms. Lewis was divorced before!”
“Not only divorced, but Ms. Lewis‘ ex–husband was also Levi, the president of the Rivera Group!”
“Levi Rivera? Wasn’t he just downstairs a moment ago?”
As they spoke, they looked around and immediately spotted Levi sitting on the lobby sofa! Everyone was shocked!
“Why is Levi here?”
