Levi thought that after this incident, their relationship would ease, but to his surprise, Gianna took out a check from her pocket.
Levi’s face turned dark.
“What do you mean by this?” He asked.
Gianna raised an eyebrow.
“A brand–new Bentley costs no more than one million. The rest can be considered a thank–you to Mr. Rivera for saving me,” she said.
Levi was furious.
Four million?
Did she use the money to insult him?
He only did it instinctively to protect her, nothing more.
Why would she think he needed her money?
Levi was angry but remained silent.
Gianna continued, “Four million should be enough. If Mr. Rivera thinks it’s not enough, tell me your price.”
“Gianna! What do you take me for?” Levi’s face turned even darker.
He was still injured, yet she didn’t care about his feelings at all.
Sienna and Alaia were dumbfounded, as four million seemed insignificant to Gianna.
They couldn’t help but feel envious of Gianna’s privileged background.
Ever since Levi controlled their economy, they couldn’t even afford a two million dollars pay.
Suddenly, she wanted to take that check.

“Gianna, what are you doing!” Sienna suddenly spoke up and walked towards Gianna as she spoke-
She glanced at the check with gleaming eyes.
Seeing this, Gianna handed it to her. “Take it, Mrs. Sienna Rivera!”
Sienna was delighted and was about to reach out to accept it, but Levi snapped at her.
“Give it back to her!”
Sienna felt heartbroken.
It was four million! How could she let it go to waste?
Levi was furious. What did Gianna think he was?
However, Gianna saw through Sienna’s thoughts and directly stuffed the check into her pocket. “Since you are Mr. Rivera’s mother, please accept this check on his behalf.”
After saying that, Gianna turned around and left.
Four million repaid Levi’s favor. From now on, they owed each other nothing.
But as soon as Gianna went out, she bumped into Victor, who had rushed here upon hearing the news. They came face to face.
“Oh, Ms. Lewis! What a coincidence!”
Victor, with a playful tone, couldn’t believe that Levi was willing to risk his life to save Gianna.

“Is Levi okay?”
Gianna didn’t want to engage with him and simply replied, “Go see for yourself.”
To her surprise, Victor chuckled, “Judging by your expression, I guess Levi is fine. It’s quite touching, isn’t it? Levi was willing to give up everything to save you. With such a caring and devoted boyfriend, you must be deeply moved.”
Gianna rolled her eyes and said, “You think I should be overwhelmed with gratitude just because of his little gesture? Should I also forget all the harm he has caused me?”
Victor awkwardly rubbed his nose and explained, “That’s not what I meant. I’m just saying that it shows Levi’s genuine feelings for you. Have you considered giving him another chance?”
They were on equal footing and had compatible backgrounds to be a perfect match.
If Gianna were willing, getting back together could lead to a great partnership.
Gianna’s face darkened upon hearing this.
“Do you think that’s possible? I’m not a masochist!”
