“That’s right. I heard that your wife opened a shop. The clothes they sell are rare and trendy, and they are doing really well. Many people can’t buy them even if they line. up.
“Mrs. Rivera! We’ve known each other for a long time. Why don’t you inform your daughter–in–law, and we go pick out some clothes from her shop some other day?”
As Sienna listened to the rich ladies complimenting Gianna, her face turned a bit pale.
In the past, she had always thought that Gianna was just an orphan from the countryside. She knew she had gone too far and even forced Gianna to divorce Levi.
But who would’ve thought she was the granddaughter of the richest man in the world?
Inwardly, Sienna was filled with regret! If she had known earlier, she would have treated Gianna better, and the current situation would not have been so hard to change.
“Mrs. Rivera, why don’t you say something? Can you do it? If you can, I’ll ask my friends to go with me. I want to support her.”
Sienna coughed lightly to cover up her embarrassment. “Well… I never interfere in my daughter–in–law’s business!”
“Oh, Mrs. Rivera, you’re too humble. That’s your daughter–in–law! You just have to say the word, and she will agree, right?
“This is the least you can ask for. She isn’t going to say no to that, right? Or do you think you can’t make her agree?”
What the rich lady said completely trampled on Sienna’s sensitive spot.
If she said no to these rich ladies, she would not be able to attend another get–together with them.
Thinking of this, Sienna smiled and said, “What are you talking about? I’m her mother–in–law. Of course she will listen to me. Do you want to check out her shop? I’ll take you there when you have the time.”
“Mrs. Rivera, I heard that your daughter–in–law is an expert in designing clothes. Can you ask her to design one for me?”
Sienna nodded without hesitation. “No problem. I’ll ask her to design one for
you.”
“You are too nice, Mrs. Rivera. You must have a very close relationship with your daughter–in–law!”
Sienna only felt awkward.
She had complained about Gianna in front of them many times in the past, commenting about her low status and saying she wasn’t qualified to be Levi’s wife.
Now that Gianna was not here, Sienna had to pretend Gianna was still her daughter–in–law and said without any guilt, “Of course! Gianna and I are very close. I always treat her as my own daughter.”
Hearing this, Kaylee couldn’t control herself anymore and scolded, “How dare she say something like that? I still remember how she treated you, but after she knew who you really were, she still had the guts to blab in front of others. The nerve on that woman!”
Gianna was also disgusted.
Did Sienna say she treated Gianna as her own daughter? That was ridiculous.

She always had to compromise and tolerate Sienna because of Levi. However, that didn’t stop Sienna from bullying her. But now, she didn’t have to endure anyone or anything.
“Did you say you treated me like your own daughter, Mrs. Rivera? How come I don’t know that?”
Gianna’s words cut off the several rich ladies‘ conversation. Sienna was also dumbfounded. The feeling of being caught on the spot made her feel a little embarrassed.
She looked at Gianna, who was walking out of the VIP room. Gianna’s face did not change, but Sienna knew something had changed. It wasn’t the Gianna she remembered.
She had acted like she was better than Gianna. But now, all she felt was enormous pressure when she looked at Gianna as if their status reversed.
