Chapter 147 Eavesdropping
Raymond placed the contract in front of Gianna. “Here, take a look!”
Gianna didn’t expect the Dragon Group would be willing to do that.
“In that case, let’s settle this cooperation for the time being. However, we still have to wait until the next meeting to sign the contract.”
“OK, Ms. Lewis.”
Gianna’s mood lifted instantly. She became much more energetic and even more attentive when reading the paperwork.
She was so immersed in her work that she didn’t notice that someone walked into the office silently.
Kaylee’s eyes were filled with disbelief as she saw Gianna. She did not expect Gianna to be so devoted to her work.
She walked to the desk and knocked on it. However, Gianna ordered without even looking up, “Make me a cup of coffee, Raymond.”
Kaylee puzzled for a second.
Sensing the person in front of her remain silent, Gianna raised her head and asked in surprise, “Kaylee? Why are you here?”
Kaylee sighed helplessly, “Of course it is me. Who did you think I was?”
Gianna put down the paperwork in her hand, stood up, and grabbed Kaylee’s arm. “Why didn’t you tell me you were coming? I thought you were Raymond.”
Kaylee shrugged her shoulders and answered, “I called you, but you didn’t answer.”
Gianna picked up her phone and saw several missed calls. “I’m so sorry! My phone was on mute.”
Kaylee decided to let her off the hook.
“I should’ve known! You workaholic! You don’t care about anything else when you get busy. You haven’t come to the shop to help me recently!”
Gianna looked apologetic. “I’m really sorry, Kaylee!”
Seeing her haggard face, Kaylee couldn’t bear to complain anymore. “Okay, I’ll forgive you. But your skin looks terrible. Why don’t we go to the SPA and take care of it?”
Hearing Kaylee’s words, Gianna realized that she hadn’t put many skin care products on her face recently. Her skin had never been worse.
“You’re right. It’s time to give my skin a bit of attention.”
Without hesitation, Gianna followed Kaylee to the nearest SPA.
The two of them chose a VIP room and did a full–b*dy skin care treatment. It was a relaxation to both the mind and the b*dy.
Just when the two of them were about to take a good rest, they heard a burst of voices coming > from next door.
“It’s been ages since we last got together. We need this.” The person who spoke was Sienna. Although they hadn’t seen each other for a long time, Gianna still recognized her voice.
“Mrs. Rivera, it’s getting harder and harder to make an appointment with you! Did you forget about us after you became the mother–in–law of the world’s rich*st man’s daughter?”
