Chapter 138 What a Small World!
Gianna smiled and declined politely, “No, thanks. My driver will pick me up
later.”
“Please allow me to walk you to the door.” Without giving Gianna a chance to refuse, Vicky made a gesture of invitation.
After nodding at her slightly, Gianna turned to leave.
Shawn was talking to several of his business partners at the door. He caught sight of Gianna walking not far away.
“Mr. Waters, I will come to your company to discuss the new nanotechnology project in detail tomorrow,” Shawn said.
“No problem, Mr. Fallon. I’m here for you!” Colin Waters replied.
After seeing his business partners off, Shawn strode up to Gianna. He took off his coat when he noticed her bare shoulders. “It’s cold outside.”
As he spoke, he draped his coat on Gianna’s shoulders.
When Vicky behind them saw this scene, she didn’t change her expression, but she was still a little surprised in her heart. She had never seen Shawn treat a woman so softly before.
Gianna said after seeing the familiar license plate number, “My driver is here!
“See you tomorrow, Shawn!”
“See you,” Shawn said. He waved goodbye to her after seeing her get into the car.
The driver started the car and drove away. Shawn didn’t withdraw his gaze until the car vanished from sight.
Early the next morning, Shawn’s driver was waiting for Gianna at her door.
Gianna changed into another business suit. She looked very capable with her delicate makeup. The driver handed her a stack of documents as soon as she got in the car.
“Ms. Lewis, Mr. Fallon asked me to give these documents to you.”
Gianna took them over and began reading them. The documents were all about new nanotechnology projects. A trace of joy flashed through her eyes. “Thank you! Mr. Fallon is so thoughtful!”
The driver started the car and drove slowly. Gianna also took the chance to flick through the documents in her hand.
The company they were talking about cooperating with today was a foreign–funded company called Dragon Group, a leader in the nanotechnology industry in Silver City. Gianna got out of the car after the driver parked the car in front of the door.
At that moment, a familiar car slowly drove in from the opposite side and finally stopped in front of Gianna. Jason’s face showed up when the window slid down. “What a coincidence, Ms. Lewis!” He greeted her with a smile.
Gianna was stunned for a moment.
Since she saw Jason, Levi must have sat in the back seat.
Gianna felt that Silver City was a little too small. “What a coincidence, Jason!”
Gianna greeted Jason politely. Jason couldn’t help but ask, “Ms. Lewis, are you also here today to discuss cooperation with them?”

Jason adjusted his gla*ses and said with a meaningful look, “Aren’t you going to Dragon Group?”
Gianna thought, “What a small world!”
After Jason finished speaking, Levi’s voice came from the back seat. “Park the car, Jason. Let’s get
out of the car.”
“Yes, Mr. Rivera!” Jason replied.
Levi got out of the car and looked at Gianna with a meaningful look on his face. He stared at her without blinking as if he were going to see her through. “New nanotechnology? It seems that we are competitors today, Ms. Lewis!”
Gianna was a little surprised. When did Rivera Group get involved in nanotechnology?
She had long been accustomed to hiding her emotions and did not reveal any of them.
“In that case, let’s see who will win.”
After saying that, Gianna walked towards Dragon Group.
Staring at her back, Levi curled up his l*ps into a smile and quickly followed her.
“Ms. Lewis, Mr. Waters is waiting for you. This way, please!”
The front desk receptionist led Gianna and Levi to the conference room on the 17th floor. Gianna deliberately chose a seat far away from Levi and sat down.
