Chapter 519 Stay Here by My Side
Was she heartless? Ruthless?
Compared to what Cedric once did to Natalie, these labels seemed trivial.
Suddenly, someone snatched her phone from her hand. Turning instinctively, Natalie met Irwin’s intense gaze.
Natalie was silent.
When she looked at Irwin, the warmth that had long vanished from her eyes seemed even colder now.
Clearly, she hadn’t expected Irwin to catch up with her.
Before she could utter a word, she felt a grip on her wrist. Irwin held her gently yet firmly.
“You…”
Natalie felt stifled looking at this version of Irwin.
Irwin said, “I never intended for you to get involved with the situation in Wexford. But now that you’re here, stay by my side.”
His words carried weight and depth. Anyone unfamiliar with the situation would’ve assumed they held immense importance in Irwin’s heart.
But Natalie’s eyes were filled with icy disdain.
“Stay here?”
“Yes, stay here by my side,” Irwin declared, his eyes reflecting an unprecedented determination.
In the next moment, Natalie forcefully freed her wrist from his grip.
“Nat!”
“With things at this point, you still expect me to stay with you?!”
Her tone was far different than Irwin’s.
Hers was dripping with sarcasm.
How shameless could they be? Even at this juncture, did they remain unchanged?!
Irwin tried again, “Nat, don’t you understand? The reason why he and I kept-”
“Enough!”

Natalie didn’t want to hear anymore. No one knew that upon seeing the document about Blair, Natalie’s heart was in turmoil despite her outward calmness.
More than anything, she felt humiliated!
Yes, humiliation.
Malcolm’s blatant humiliation of Bianca was evident. He would make sure Bianca understood precisely why he treated her the way he did.
As for Cedric and Irwin?
The humiliation inflicted upon her by them was subtle.
During the time she spent with Cedric before Isabella appeared, Natalie believed she loved Cedric, and he loved her in return.
But in those beautiful moments, she knew now that while she truly invested her emotions, Cedric did not reciprocate in the same way.
Blair Russell!
Hmph…
Every good thing that happened, even the times Irwin saved her from danger…
All of it happened because Natalie’s face resembled another woman’s.
“It doesn’t matter what you say, Irwin!” Natalie hissed through gritted teeth, her voice icy as she glared at him.
The turmoil in her eyes made it abundantly clear to Irwin just how deep her resentment toward him and especially Cedric had grown!
“Let’s go back for now, okay?” Irwin took a deep breath, trying to remain patient.
Instinctively, he reached out to hold Natalie’s hand again, but she violently pulled away.
Even the slightest touch from him now felt repulsive to her.
“Nat,” Irwin murmured, looking somewhat lost.
Without a word, Natalie turned away, leaving Irwin to reach out futilely!
She was close by, yet he lacked the courage to chase after her…
Natalie was cold.
No, she was more than that…
She was frigid, and it chilled him to the bone.

Now that Natalie was aware of the affairs in Wexford, she was returning to Simeria.
There was nothing else she needed to know, so she had no intention of spending even an extra second in that place.
It was no wonder Cedric and Irwin were reluctant to return to Wexford before its complete
downfall.
Looking back, the irony was palpable.
The place held their most haunting memories, making it a location they would naturally avoid.
