Imogen perked up immediately upon hearing this.
“Cordelia, no matter what, there’s still hope for Elijah! He’s not a scumbag like Ben,” she said.
Cordelia looked at Imogen and asked cautiously, “Imogen, what’s your plan?”
Imogen replied, “What can I do? I’ll just go with the flow. I hope that eventually, when he gets tired of me, we can also part ways amicably. Just like you and Elijah did.”
Cordelia observed the hint of sadness in Imogen’s eyes and patted her hand to comfort her.

Cordelia didn’t bother to glance at her and smiled. “Miss Flores,
you really have a way with words. I really liked it when you congratulated me.”
Elissa’s eyes widened. She felt that Cordelia was rather pleased about her divorce. But again, she might be pretending.
Elissa sneered, “You’re just trying to save your dignity.”
Cordelia remained smiling. “Aren’t we all? Otherwise, why bother cosplaying for producers?”
“You!” Elissa’s l*ps twitched, and her gaze turned malevolent. “Is it that bitch Imogen who told you?”
“It seems like it was Ben who informed her.” Cordelia refused to provide Elissa with any information she could exploit.
At the mention of Ben’s name, Elissa’s expression contorted with
anger.
“Why are you all just standing there? Go beat her up!” Elissa was getting increasingly excited.
The last time, she hadn’t been able to get her hands on Cordelia.
This time, she was determined to make her pay!
Cordelia glanced at the two b*dyguards standing behind Elissa and immediately went on high alert, calculating the risks of getting into a fight.

Cordelia teased Imogen, “If someone didn’t know better, they’d think you two were deeply in love.”
Imogen rolled her eyes and humphed, “I’ve already figured out this guy’s preferences. It’s easy to appease him, but sometimes, I just don’t want to. Why should I always have to cater to him?”
Cordelia inquired, “So what’s the occasion today? Why are you willing to indulge him?”
Imogen said seriously, “Ben is getting engaged. He’s flying overseas next week to personally bring his almost-fiancée back.”
