Cordelia was stunned.
She hadn’t expected this man to suddenly make such a promise.
Cordelia didn’t know why he suddenly decided to give up on Eva.
Maybe he didn’t want to give up on Eva. He just chose Cordelia for the time being.
So… was Elijah doing this just to calm her down?
Cordelia frowned and continued, “Eva is not the only problem between us.”
“Then we’ll solve them one by one. In any case, I won’t divorce!” Elijah declared.
With that, he pressed Cordelia against the tree, then held her and k*ssed her deeply.
