expression.

you have to be careful. Some women like to play dirty tricks.”
Cordelia nodded obediently. She lowered her head and frowned.
Marriage required two people to work together. It was useless for
her to work hard alone.

know.”

Cordelia pinched his cheek with one hand. “Be patient with
Lamia.”
“Well, tell me.” Elijah’s tone softened.
Lamia’s eyes widened, and she looked at Cordelia with
admiration.
Cordelia tamed the obstinate and unruly Elijah.
She was awesome!
“Hmm… Well, Jacob is going to Tarssa City for a month’s business
trip. I want to go with him,” Lamia said expectantly.
Elijah said impatiently, “You should tell your elders about this. Why did you tell me?”
“I… I need a valid reason! Elijah, help me! Please!” Lamia said
pitifully.
