Luna had not said a word yet when the office door swung open. Cameron walked in with a smile and asked, “Are you having some trouble?”
“It’s not a major issue. What do you have there?” She turned her head to look at him, inquiring curiously.
“Oh! It’s a ma*sager I bought for Ms. Quinn. She’s been sitting at her worktable all day and needs. something to relax her muscles,” he answered nonchalantly while mentally calculating how to help Abigail and her team resolve the situation.
Abigail looked somewhat surprised as she got up and approached Cameron to take the device. “You’re quite considerate,” she remarked as she unwrapped the packaging.
He scratched his nose and did not give a direct response. The truly considerate one was Sean because it had never crossed Cameron’s mind to buy a ma*sage device for her.
After observing him, Luna had a meaningful look in her eyes. He felt her gaze and quickly averted it. “Well, if there’s nothing else, I’ll head out.”
“Sure,” Abigail replied. “But how much did it cost? I’ll pay you back.”
“Oh, it’s not that expensive, just a few hundred. I even used a coupon I got from a blogger,” Cameron replied casually. He had seen a similar ma*sager earlier while browsing videos, and it cost only a few hundred. Thus, he suspected the ma*sager Sean had bought was likely in the same price range.
Then, Luna followed Cameron out of the office. When he was about to sl*p away, she grabbed the back of his collar. “Spill the beans. Who bought that thing?”
“I did!” he proclaimed.
She snorted. “Do you really think I’ll believe you?”
“Hey, what can you achieve by digging deeper? As long as it’s useful for Ms. Quinn, that’s all that matters. right?” he replied while adjusting his collar.
Luna held onto him until they exited the company. Then, she frowned and said, “Lying to her like that is unacceptable. Abigail is soft-hearted. She hired you because you were fired by Sean. If you two were conspiring, she’d be genuinely upset.”
“Are you taking Sean’s side?” Cameron asked immediately.
“Is that even the point?” She snapped back.

She gazed at the price for a while, then put her phone aside. Considering Cameron’s personality, he might not have thought this through so much. The only possibility was that he was in contact with Sean, and he might have shared information about her with him. Yet, she could not imagine Sean stooping to such a
level.
When Luna entered, Abigail asked, “Did you find out who bought it?”
“Oh?” Luna immediately wore a puzzled expression.
Abigail turned her head to look at her.
Luna chuckled. “I didn’t ask; I just inquired if he was conspiring with Sean, and he said he wasn’t.”
“What do you think about this? Is it a gift from Sean?” Abigail asked her.
“I can’t be certain of that. You can just give him the money and consider it as if he helped you get it,” Luna replied nonchalantly.
Abigail thought for a moment, and it did make sense. In the end, the one who gave her the gift was Cameron, not Sean.
“It’s a device that costs 6,750, but he said it was just a few hundred.” Abigail sighed with a touch of regret.
“This guy is generous. We’ll be rolling in wealth by having an employee like him,” Luna commented jokingly.
“But there’s nothing to roll in. I have to spend 6,750 on this, and it pains me,” Abigail said while wincing at the thought.
Luna laughed. “True. It’s quite a loss, but what worries me more is ending our cooperation with Fairy Meadow. We were thinking of raising them as the primary brand for L.Moon, but with this situation, it’s going to be difficult.” As she spoke, Abigail’s mood grew gloomier.
“I’ve already prepared the new products for the launch event. If we discontinue the cooperation, it’d be such a waste. Also, your relationship with Howard may not continue smoothly.” Abigail concluded with a soft sigh.
“It’s not a big deal for me. What concerns me is that your efforts will be in vain, and we don’t know who to allocate our fabric resources to,” Luna said while sitting on the couch. Her head was aching slightly.
March was just around the corner, and selecting a venue for Fairy Meadow’s product launch had taken a while, the preparations had begun since the previous month. Now, with the Pearson Family pulling these kinds of moves for the sake of Kelly, Luna was incredibly frustrated.
