Chapter 484 I Don’t Believe
Three individuals pushed open the door and entered the room.
Harold also snapped out of his daze and looked at them.
Freya, who was on the ground enduring the pain, glared at them with hatred in her eyes. She pointed at Simone and said, “Simone, you harmed me.”
Previously, she had suspected that the venom was the issue, but now that she saw Simone, she was sure.
Simone raised an eyebrow and said, “You’re mistaken. I don’t harm you. It is you who harm yourself and suffer the consequences.”
She disregarded Freya and turned to Harold, asking. “Are you feeling better now?” Harold’s voice sounded weak as he replied, “Much better. Earlier, it felt like I had no control over myself.”
He glanced disdainfully at the ground and said, “I don’t expect her to be so malicious.”
Although unconscious before, he was still aware of everything said, including Simone’s words.
He knew that if the venom controlled him, he would become Freya’s puppet.
Simone sneered, “You bring this upon yourself.”
“Having someone with ill intentions by your side is your decision and choice.”
“You should have been prepared for the consequences while using her.”
She didn’t dislike Harold, who was cunning, but she didn’t like him.
Harold didn’t expect Simone to say such things.
He forced a bitter smile and said, Indeed. I bring this upon myself. I was too confident before, thinking everything was under my control.”
He looked at Simone gratefully and said, “Thank you for what happened today.”
Simone’s expression remained indifferent as she said, “I work for a special department. So naturally, I have to handle situations like this”
“You have overcome your greatest calamity. I have taken care of Freya and her father.”
“If you have any future problems, you don’t need to find me anymore. Our cooperation is over.”
These words made Leon and Titus feel uneasy.
Simone implied that she didn’t want any further contact with them in the future.
Harold also felt lost.
Unable to hold back, he asked, “Will you tell Gwen about this when you return?” He hadn’t seen Gwen for over ten days and hoped she would understand his relationship with Freya

Simone’s eyes revealed a hint of amusement as she said, “You may be overestimating your position in Gwen’s heart.”
She took out her phone and showed him two videos.
“Gwen is currently on vacation with Anthony, having a great time. She has no time or energy to worry about your affairs.”
Gwen told her that she wasn’t planning to get married, but when she met an attractive and likable man, she would still date him.
She planned to take on the role of a dominant woman in the future. The relationships would become a pastime for her.
Of course, she and Anthony had made it clear when they were together.
They were together for happiness and companionship but didn’t expect anything more.
Harold was completely stunned when he saw the video of his beloved person k*ssing a young and handsome guy.
His heart was in so much pain that he couldn’t breathe.
He shook his head and said, “This can’t be true. How could Gwen like someone like him?”
Obviously, he was just a pretty face, not Gwen’s type at all.
Simone laughed. Tastes can change, you know. Where does your confidence come from? Will Gw like you and wait for you?” She added, not politely, “This cute and charming guy who knows how to spoiled and coax people.”
“Compared to you, who is as cunning as a fox and often plays with the greasy tricks of a playboy.”
Just like how she used to like Leon, who was cold and didn’t know how to coax people, she often had to accommodate him.
She used to love this type so much, but now she found it was repulsive.
Someone who sweet talks and knows how to coax, who is handsome and pleasing to the eye, that’s what she likes now.
She had cut off all her feelings for Leon, just like Gwen had for Harold.
These words deeply hurt Harold.
He shook his head again and firmly said, “I don’t believe it.”
Simone sneered, “Believe it or not, it’s up to you.”
“I have something to do, so I’ll leave now. Let’s not contact each other anymore.
After saying that, she confidently walked away without any hesitation.
After Simone left, Leon stared at her back, lost in thought.

As long as Simone didn’t find a new boyfriend, he wouldn’t give up.
Harold said, “Leon, can you help me call Gwen?”
“You can say that I fainted and ask her if she can come and see me.”
Gwen blocked his call.
Looking at Harold like this, Leon couldn’t help but think of himself.
He sighed, “Okay”
He called his sister and put it on speakerphone.
Soon, Gwen’s voice came from the other end. “What’s up?” Leon said, “Harold fainted from the venom. Can you come to the hospital and see him?” Gwen’s voice on the other end showed no hesitation or pause.
“I’m not a geomancer. I can’t help him with treatment. Why should I come and see him? Besides, isn’t this his fault? He deserves it.
“I’m on vacation with my new lover. I don’t have time or energy to deal with his affairs.”
This remark made Harold’s face change.
Unable to restrain himself, he said, “Gwen, are you trying to provoke me with this so-called new lover of are you trying to provoke me with this so-called new lover of yours?” She sneered, “Harold, aren’t you the one who fainted? You recover pretty quickly.”
“I’m not like you, playing hard to get.”
