After resolving the incident with Sage, Bailey invited Simone to enjoy the moon in the backyard one day,
Simone entered the yard and saw him sitting on a stone chair. He exuded a pure and ethereal aura, with a hint of distance, as if he could ascend to immortality at any moment.
Sitting across from him, she glanced at the wine he had prepared on the table. “You seem to be in high spirits today.”
He poured a glass of wine for her and smiled. “The moonlight is exceptionally beautiful tonight.”
Simone played with her wine glass. “Bailey, do you have something to tell me?”
He looked at her and nodded with a smile. “You’re very astute. I am leaving, and I invited you to join me in appreciating the moon tonight as a farewell.”
Simone was surprised. “Leaving? Where are you going?”
He whispered, “I’ve discovered a secret at the source of that cursed crack. There is a barrier at the deepest. part of the crack, which should be a passage to another world. I have heard that our sect leader accidentally fell from another world to this one, and that world possesses spiritual energy that we lack here, just like the cultivators described in novels. He smiled and replied, That sounds great. Let’s go there. As long as he could spend time and have fun with her, he would enjoy any destination. So, they made their flight and hotel bookings together.
Five days later.
Both of them were well-known celebrities. Although Zac wasn’t concerned about being photographed, he worried about it affecting Simone. To avoid being easily recognized, he dressed up in a way that would make him less noticeable before driving to pick up Simone and going to the airport.
On the other hand, Simone wasn’t particularly worried about being photographed either, but she appreciated his thoughtfulness because he always prioritized her. This was something Leon couldn’t provide, and she always feared burdening him instead.
After arriving at the hotel, they took some time to rest. In the afternoon, they had a buffet together and then took a stroll along the beach. The sunset was beautiful, and Zac intentionally brought his camera to capture many stunning photos of Simone.

Simone admired the newly decorated yacht and the variety of food, realizing that he had prepared everything in advance. As they stopped in a specific area of the sea, she looked up and saw the starry sky and the shimmering waves, which painted a breathtaking view.
Meanwhile, Zac grilled skewers on a rack, and she noticed that he only grilled the ones that she liked. Since she had never told him her food preferences, it seemed that he had observed and discovered them himself. Indeed, it sure felt wonderful to be cherished and cared for.
After finishing the skewers, they each returned to their rooms to freshen up. Simone dried her hair after showering and noticed the beauty of the night sky, which inspired her to do something. She put on a camisole nightgown and went to the bow of the ship to admire the moon.
After a while, Zac emerged with a bottle of red wine and two glasses. He shook the wine glass and siniled, asking, “Simone, care for a drink?” Tonight, he was prepared to confess his feelings and was very nervous.
Simone reached out and took the glass, saying, “I’ll have one”
Then, they sat side by side on the deck, sipping their wine. After a few glasses, Zae held his wine glass tightly, turned his head, and gazed at Simone affectionately. “Simone, I like you.” Nervously and anxiously, he asked, “Will you be my girlfriend?” This was his first confession.
