Chadwick was getting ready to get off work early when someone barged into his office.
Jumping in fright, he nearly fell out of his chair.
Glaring daggers at the two people who just came in, Chadwick roared, “Who the fuck are you two? You bastards! Don’t you know how to knock?”
Caspian studied Chadwick and found the latter to be a round–bellied man with a seemingly haughty attitude.
He deduced that Chadwick must’ve caused a lot of grief to ordinary citizens with his wicked ways, and he was determined to teach Chadwick a lesson he wouldn’t forget.
Without saying anything, Caspian walked over to the desk and took a seat.
“You’re Chadwick Sheehan?” Caspian asked as he eyed Chadwick.

Caspian tossed the document onto the desk in front of Chadwick.

Caspian sneered.
Chadwick was indeed an ignorant buffoon, but it turned out that he had Zayn to back him up.

“You fucker! Just wait! Mr. Gasse won’t let you get away with this!” Chadwick growled viciously.
“That bastard Zayn? I’ll knock all his teeth out if he dares to show himself!” Caspian scoffed.
Chadwick thought Caspian was blowing his horn. Why would he have the guts to hit Zayn? It had to be a joke.

“Will you sign it or not?” Caspian asked once more.
“Never!” Chadwick staunchly declared.
Caspian shook his head. Chadwick was a stubborn and ignorant fool.
“Teach him a lesson, Sylvia,” Caspian instructed.
Sylvia walked up to Chadwick.
“What do you
think you’re doing? I’m going to call security!” Chadwick shouted as he eyed Sylvia fearfully. Even though she was a beautiful woman, he felt very uneasy.
Sylvia immediately started giving Chadwick a fierce pounding, and he howled in agony.
Unfortunately for him, the soundproofing for his office was excellent. The others outside couldn’t hear what was happening inside his office.
In reality, Chadwick specifically had people renovate his office to make it soundproof so that he could get it on with his assistant in there.

Just then, the door to Chadwick’s office flew open with a bang, and a few men in suits came in.
“Which one of you is Chadwick Sheehan?” the man in the lead asked solemnly.
“That’s me. Who are you people? What are you doing here?” Chadwick asked after getting to
his feet.
“We’re from the Inspector General’s office. You’re under suspicion for misconduct. Kindly come with us for further investigation,” the man replied while holding out his identification. badge.
Chadwick’s eyes widened. He was dumbstruck.
Why were the authorities here to take him into custody? He didn’t commit any crimes.
Furthermore, he was working for the Gasse family. Who would dare to mess with him?
Did these people make some kind of mistake?
Chadwick couldn’t wrap his head around the situation.
