Caspian had a reason for making this arrangement.

“Tell my dad that he doesn’t need to worry about stuff in Enies. I can handle it,” Matteo said

Meanwhile, hundreds of armored soldiers were standing by outside the villa.
“Caspian, this is Matteo’s villa. Should we charge in now?” Macy asked.
Caspian didn’t allow her to address him as “Lord Caspian“, so she could only follow Sylvia in calling him “Caspian“.
“Not so fast. We can’t just use force immediately, can we? If other high–ranking officials in Diatoran find out about this, they’ll scold me again,” Caspian said, smiling.
He turned to Sylvia. “Sylvia, go and sound Matteo out. Tell him that we’re giving him a chance. Release Landon or we’ll crush this place.”
“Roger.” Sylvia made her way toward the villa.
“Mr. Kane, someone representing Southlake Corporation wants to talk to you,” a fighter shouted as he rushed into the villa.
“That’s quick. Where are they? Bring them in.” Matteo laughed.
After saying that, he lit a cigarette, showing no signs of concern. He was eager to see what tricks Southlake Corporation could play.
Sylvia walked in, expressionless, and asked, “Are you Matteo Kane?”
“Yes, and who are you?” Matteo asked.
“I represent the lord of Diadem Hall. I’m here to warn you. Release Landon now, or we’ll crush this place.” Sylvia got straight to the point..
Matteo sneered disdainfully.
The lord of Diadem Hall? How could he not know what position that was?
Matteo thought Slyvia was trying to intimidate him with some random title.
Were the people from Southlake City all fools? This was his territory, and yet she dared to speak so arrogantly.
“If you want me to release him, sure. But first, have Southlake Corporation’s CEO kneel before me and beg for mercy,” Matteo said with a scornful expression.

Matteo was much more arrogant than she had imagined.
After that, she conveyed Matteo’s response to Caspian.

Originally, he didn’t want to resort to violence, but Matteo was too cocky.
“Sylvia, you have 20 minutes. Resolve this trouble,” Caspian instructed Sylvia.
“Roger.”
With that, Sylvia led the armored soldiers into the villa.
Caspian remained calm as he watched her leave.
Dealing with Matteo required no planning or deployment. Everything was futile in the face of absolute strength.
With a loud bang, the villa’s main door was blown open.
One of Matteo’s men ran in, looking terrified. “Mr. Kane, we’re in trouble! Someone has invaded!”
“What?” Matteo was stunned at those words. He didn’t expect the other party to attack directly.
“Gather all the fighters now and wipe them out!”
“Understood.”
Matteo sat on the couch with an indifferent look as he watched his subordinate leave.
The fighters in the villa were all top–notch. Once the other party arrived, they would undoubtedly be defeated.
“Someone! Wake him up and continue the beating,” Matteo said coldly, looking at Landon.
“Understood.”
With the ice–cold water pouring over Landon, he jolted awake.
Once again, the iron whip mercilessly lashed across his b*dy.
Landon screamed hysterically, and his voice grew weaker from that.

Suddenly, a loud bang echoed, and the door was kicked open. The fighters from outside rushed in, some crawling and rolling.
“Mr. Kane, this is bad. They’re too strong. We’re no match for them! Many of our men are either dead or injured!”
“How is that possible?” Surprised, Matteo stood up sharply.
He had hired nearly a thousand fighters. How could they not hold their ground?
“Don’t spout nonsense here. Do you want me to break your legs?” Matteo threatened through gritted teeth.
Before he could act, people from outside had already rushed in.
“Are you shocked? Mr. Lynch brought people over! Continue beating me if you have the guts! You’ll die for sure!” Landon excitedly exclaimed.
“I’ll kill you first,” Matteo said viciously, holding a dagger and charging toward Landon.
Seeing this, Landon was terrified. He didn’t want to die. He only said that earlier because he
was too excited.
“Help! Help!” Landon screamed at the top of his lungs.
Suddenly, hundreds of figures stormed in from outside. Caspian, accompanied by Sylvia and others, walked in.
“Mr. Lynch!” Seeing Caspian, Landon’s emotions heightened.
Fortunately, Caspian arrived in time. Otherwise, he might not have survived.
Without saying much, Caspian sat down on a couch and stared at Matteo. “You’re Chandler’s son, Matteo, right?”
“Do you know me?” Matteo asked, puzzled. “Who are you?”
“Caspian Lynch.”
“You’re Caspian?”
Matteo was extremely shocked. “You’re the one who took down Alfred?” he exclaimed.
