Chapter 382 Heartless
Willow looked at Jyn and strengthened her resolve.
She realized she had to improve herself in order to keep Caspian by her side and to stand proudly before all who had doubted her in her life.
She made a promise to herself to never ever leave Caspian’s side nor to give him away.
Willow had been assuming that her marriage with Caspian was going strong until Jyn’s appearance convinced her otherwise.
Jyn’s expression remained cold as she left the office building of Southlake Corporation.
Ginger followed up behind her and sheepishly asked, “What should we do next, Ms. Morrison?
Jyn remained silent for a while, and Ginger didn’t try to ask again.
“To Riverside Villa!” said Jyn.
She then got into a limited edition Bentley.
30 minutes later, Jyn and Ginger arrived in front of Riverside Villa.
Caspian was about to leave the house and was stunned when he saw multiple cars parked in front of the house..
An enchanting figure soon got out of the Bentley.
Jyn smiled, and her heart went aflutter the moment she saw Caspian. “Caspian!”
Caspian was surprised to see her. “Jyn? Why are you here?”
She rushed over to Caspian and complained, “Have you forgotten our promise, Caspian? I’ve waited for you for so many years! I can’t believe you married Willow instead. Why are you. doing this to me, Caspian?”
Jyn finally let out her bottled–up emotions all at once.
She began to sob after finishing her words.
Ginger frowned as she watched the scene unfold by the side.
She couldn’t imagine just what could have happened between Jyn and Caspian in the past.
However, she didn’t dare to ask any questions despite her confusion as she was just a mere
secretary.
Ginger scanned Caspian from head to toe with contempt.
She could only wonder why Jyn was so obsessed with a man like Caspian.
There were plenty of better men back in Dhord City who had been trying to court Jyn.
Caspian looked helpless as he replied, “Jyn, we don’t really have anything going on between us. Besides, it’s been so many years since. Why can’t you just let it go?”
Jyn suddenly grabbed Caspian’s hand and shouted, “Caspian! I don’t really care even if you’re married now. I just want to be together with you. I’d do anything for it to happen. I’ll even give you the entire Morrison Group.
“Please, Caspian, let us be together. Let’s get married and have kids!”
Her tone seemed almost as if she was pleading for help.
She was willing to give up everything she had now in order to be with Caspian.
Caspian let out a sigh as he retracted his hand.
“That’s enough, Jyn. I’m happily married to my wife right now. Please leave and stop bothering us! My wife will be upset if she ever hears about this,” replied Caspian.
He only loved Willow.
Jyn was also quite the beautiful woman with a fantastic figure, but it didn’t matter.
Willow wasn’t any worse compared to Jyn. But most importantly, the couple had already gone through a lot together.
Caspian had promised himself that he could never betray Willow.
Jyn froze in place as she didn’t expect the man of her dreams to be so heartless.
She had traveled thousands of miles to come to Southlake City, only to be driven away by him.
“Caspian, you asshole! Have you already forgotten what happened back when we were in the military? You rescued me from the enemy, remember? I promised that I’d marry you once I was discharged from the army. Why didn’t you wait for me?” wailed Jyn.
She was so distraught that she no longer resembled the great Ms. Morrison.
She had wanted to be with Caspian ever since he saved her life.
She had always fantasized about starting a family with Caspian after they were discharged.
But everything changed by the time she was discharged. Caspian was nowhere to be found, and all she could do was patiently wait for his reappearance.
Jyn had always kept a lookout for Caspian throughout her time developing Morrison Group.

Jyn proceeded to hold onto Caspian’s leg as she wailed, “Caspian, please! I can’t go on without you! I’m only so successful because I worked hard as I held onto the hope that I might be able to find you and marry you!
“How am I supposed to continue living if you leave me? You’re the only one in my heart, Caspian. I love you!”
Jyn sobbed loudly as her heart was filled with despair.
The man of her dreams who she had cherished for so long was going to leave her.
She felt as if her heart had been stabbed by multiple daggers.
Ginger had never seen such a side of Jyn.
She had always seen Jyn as someone she strived to become. But now, Jyn would stoop so low just to try and keep a man by her side.
Jyn no longer resembled a powerful CEO, nor did she resemble the calm and collected beautiful woman she was known for.
She had discarded all of her dignity for love.
Ginger angrily stared at Caspian for causing Jyn to turn into such a mess.
Passerbys nearby were also surprised to find a beauty like Jyn being so distraught.
It seemed unbelievable for such a beauty to also fail at the quest for love.
