“So you’re saying you’re waiting for the people from Glorious Group to try to assassinate you, which is also going to be our chance. We can use that as an excuse to either get rid of Glorious Group or seize the company for ourselves.” Sylvia deduced.
“When that happens, Tigra will have no choice but to accept the loss helplessly!”
Though this strategy meant putting Caspian in danger, it was also the best opportunity for them.
“That’s right. We don’t need to rush things. Let Glorious Group do whatever they want. The more money they spend, the happier I am. In the end, all of Glorious Group’s assets will belong to Diatoran!” Caspian declared.

“We’ve been in situations far more dangerous than this one. Don’t stress yourself out. Anyway, that’s all for today. I’m going home now,” Caspian said. He drove back to the villa.

Once she showered, the two of them lay in bed together.

“No. He’s unaware of the situation. Why do you ask?” Caspian responded in seeming ignorance.
Willow gave a simple summary of the company’s situation.
“Initially, Southlake Corporation was backed into a corner, but a mysterious person gave Geoffrey an investment of 20 billion dollars. We bought over many of the companies who wanted to terminate their contracts with us, so the situation has improved a little.”
“I see,” Caspian remarked casually. “Maybe it’s just a kind–hearted Diatorian who couldn’t stand seeing Glorious Group’s attempt to monopolize the market, so he invested in the company. Don’t worry. Maybe we’ll end up buying up Glorious Group, too!”
“How’s that possible? You can’t underestimate Glorious Group. Even though we’ve overcome. the crisis, we can’t let our guard down yet!” Willow said while shaking her head.
“Why wouldn’t it be possible? Perhaps in the future, Southlake Corporation will become the biggest conglomerate in the Two Lakes area, and everyone will know about you, the CEO,” Caspian declared.
He knew it was only a matter of time before they took over Glorious Group.
“Let’s go to sleep. Maybe we’ll even dream about opening a branch of Southlake Corporation in Dhord City!” Willow rolled her eyes and said.
The two drifted off to sleep.
The next day, Caspian went to Southlake Hospital to treat his injury.
“Caspian, why did your wound split again? If you keep this up, it’ll be very hard for you to recover fully. You need rest,” Avon chided with a frown.

“Let Sylvia, Macy, and the others handle things. You don’t need to get involved,” Avon replied. He was aware of the conflict between Caspian and Greg.

“Why are you here?” Caspian asked. His brows creased when he saw Macy.

“Are we going on any more missions like what we did yesterday? I can’t stay in the hotel anymore,” Macy said. She did not like having nothing to do.
“How can there be missions every day? From the way you’re acting, there aren’t enough bad guys in the world for you to deal with! Just be patient. If anything comes up, I’ll let you know,
Caspian said.
Macy was a strange person. Others would long for peace, but she yearned for chaos. That way, she could revel in the fun of hunting the bad guys down.
“Caspian, why don’t you take me sightseeing around Southlake City? We have nothing else to do anyway. Is your leg alright?” Macy asked.
“I’d rather not. Go ask someone else,” Caspian coolly rejected..
“What? You’re letting me, a young woman, walk around alone in an unfamiliar place? What if the bad guys catch me?” Macy whined.
Caspian was speechless. Who would dare to abduct Macy? Only those with a death wish would do a thing like that.
It seemed unlikely that anyone in Southlake City could take down Macy so easily
Judging by her performance in the fight yesterday, even several dozen burly men would not be able to overpower her!
“Oh, fine. What do you want to see? Let’s go,” Caspian said as he shook his head exasperatedly.
If he did not give in, Macy would, no doubt, continue to pester him.
Macy jumped for joy and dragged Caspian out of the hospital.
She got into the driver’s seat while Caspian sat in the front passenger seat.
The car was cruising down a remote alley when they saw a middle–aged woman kneeling on the ground and crying her heart out.
“Stop the car and see what’s happening,” Caspian said.
“Yes, Caspian,” Macy answered as she pulled up by the side of the alley.
After getting out of the car, Macy approached the middle–aged woman and asked, “Excuse me. Do you need any help?”

anger.
“They left a few minutes ago. I don’t think they’re locals. I memorized the van’s license plate number,” the woman replied.
“Come with me! Get into the car. We’ll go and look for your child!” Macy declared. She felt disgusted and resentful.
