Chapter 144 A Critical Situation
At that moment, Willow realized that Alicia had a sinister reason for inviting her to a meal. It was to help Nicholas sleep with her!
“You bastard! How could you be so shameless?” Zoey snapped. She never expected Nicholas to be such a deceitful man.

“Don’t hit her!” Willow cried out as she watched her friend getting beaten up.
But Nicholas totally ignored her pleas, delivering blow after blow onto Zoey’s face.
Back at Rose Hotel, Caspian knew what was happening in Silverstone Hotel.
He heard the sounds coming from the phone. He knew that Willow was in grave danger.
He was extremely furious.
Macy and Sylvia could also hear everything. They knew that something big was happening.
“I’ll have to leave first. It’s urgent! Carry on without me!” Caspian said as he stood up swiftly.
Nicholas, that bastard. How dared he still pester his wife?

The mere mention of his name filled Nicholas with rage. If it weren’t for Caspian, Willow
would’ve been his.
With nothing left to say, Nicholas started beating Zoey again.
When Willow saw how cruelly Zoey was tortured, she could no longer bear to watch it. She could only plead, “Please stop! Don’t hit her anymore! She’ll die at this rate!”
The guests inside the private rooms could hear everything. They wanted to see what was happening outside but were blocked by the guards.
“Security, bring me a knife!” Nicholas ordered.
When Zoey heard that he wanted a knife, she became terrified. What was he planning to do?
Did he want to pay her back for scratching his face?
Zoey was thrown into a panic.
